@pn_neil_allen: Deal signed off. Back in 10 minutes after judge has seen the terms in private. If all is well the order will be approved. #Pompey

@pn_neil_allen: Once the order is confirmed, up to Trust to seal the deal. #Pompey

Seems like something will happen shortly then.

Nice of Neil to leave the obvious door open with his last bit there though: 'up to Trust to seal the deal'.

Still remains to be seen that they have what is needed to do so.

@pn_neil_allen: Just waiting for judge to make his ruling. For confidentiality reasons we will not see the terms at present. Called a Tomlin Order. #Pompey

Wonder what the deal is they have agreed. Would be classic if Chinny wanted a place on the board or to own a % of the club (as their plan is to own 51% correct?).

"A Tomlin order is a court order in the English civil justice system under which a court action is stayed, on terms which have been agreed in advance between the parties and which are included in a schedule to the order. As such, it is a form of consent order. The order permits either party to apply to court to enforce the terms of the order, avoiding the need to start fresh proceedings. The terms of the schedule do not form part of the court order, so may remain confidential, and can include matters outside the jurisdiction of the court or the scope of the case in hand."

"Comment From Trevor Oast

Until the Trust have actually signed everything, any celebration would be premature. As Neil said above 'up to Trust to seal the deal' ... do they have what it takes?"

T.Oast strikes again...

I thought the Trust were going to shepherd in a new era of transparency at Pompey?

I think they got transparent and translucent mixed up... fans think they can see the light, but there's little actual detail to be made out.

Thanks. Suppose I could have googled that myself!

Sounds as if at least some of the details will remain clouded in secrecy then ....such as how much Chainrai will eventually get?

Yep, it's the light at the end of the tunnel. Any moment now they're going to be able to make out the headcode...

So it sounds like Chinny is still in there, but they have agreed the terms under which he will go. This Court case hasn't been settled, only stayed.

@pn_Emma_Judd: no confidentiality clause in the deal, so public should be able to read it all if they want when it goes on the register

Fair enough...

@pn_Emma_Judd: Ooh, judge says couple of points will be unenforceable through the courts if quibbled. Like compromise agreements/people mentioned
