Comment From Davey K

I read last week that the Parachute Payments have increased by £4m which wasn't in the Trust's business plan. This is obviously great news but should the Trust use some of it to increase the CVA offer as a goodwill gesture to the creditors? After all, they weren't planning on having this extra £4m so what a great PR move it would be to offer it to the creditors

Neil:

Nice idea. However, loans from the council and Stuart Robinson have to be paid first in August. Also the PFA need paying.

Unfortunately there isn't enough for everyone - and I know plenty of creditors. Some are my friends.

The man has missed the point.... this £4m is "new" money, isn't it?

Why don't the Trust call Chainrai's bluff, arrange to play fixtures away from Fratton Park for the next two years and take over the club NOW. Then, when he realises he has a stadium that he can't do anything with he will be biting the Trust's hand off to buy it back from him on the cheap.

Under The Packed Park Rule, 10,000 = 25,000 - so he is already 2.5 people.

When you consider that he is five times more passionate and bestest than fans of other teams, that gives us 12.5.

In direct comparison to his nearest rivals who all wave hankies (x4), boo their own side (x3), and who all leave before the end (x5), our lone pitch invader is now the equivalent of 750 fans of lesser clubs.

Assuming that these 750 pitch invaders are the result of two CVAs, the real figure of pompey faithful tearfully storming the play area at Crewe was approx 375,000.

I would also suggest that the portsmaths dept gets together with the portsmyth dept to tidy up the detail.

Crewe is so close to Manchester that I think we can safely say in future that the losing streak ended at Man Utd where 375,000 pompey fans stormed the Old Trafford pitch at the end.

It has been written, it is now fact.

No one can dispute it, even in a court of law.

Sometimes things just flow...

Very good indeed :)

@NabilHassan79: RT @officialpompey Court date set to begin on April 10 or 11: http://t.co/VHt6wqDxZc #pompey

#factlessallen

Priceless that Allen knew nothing about this during the webchat just now

Get in - that leaves them with 3 games to go (maximum) before the end of the season, when almost certainly they will be already relegated - a 10 point deduction would be meaningless so I'm sure the FL will see sense and accept the abuse from the Phew that they've got it in for them (despite bending over backwards to keep them going all these years - any other members only club would have just expelled them years ago).

Isn't 28th March the deadline to get the point deduction this season.

There is no set deadline in the Football League rules for diluting a failed CVA with a new CVA. It is not the same as what happened with Saints, which did have a cut off date. It is at the Football League's discretion what they do, but yes, it would be pointless to give them a points deduction in League One if they are already relegated to League Two.

-10 points in League Two would be the right thing to do, but who knows what the Football League will do...?

@AshBeen23: Court case will begin April 10 or 11. Lets hope common sense prevails and it does not get that far

@MatthewLeGod: @AshBeen23 Common sense would have liquidated long ago a 3 times failed company that racked up £150m+ of debt including £40m+ to taxpayer.

@Walkthe9T2: @MatthewLeGod @AshBeen23 This sort of comment is why fans up and down the country think SFC are a nothing club where Pompey is loved.

@MatthewLeGod: @Walkthe9T2 Why is that? I don't represent the club. Imagine my comment was about any other business and it would be entirely reasonable.

@Walkthe9T2: @MatthewLeGod Football Clubs are not "any other business" which is why its customers are paying millions to save it.

I don't think they'll ever get it MLG...

Someone told me today, that there are 4 Skate players living in a rented house about 300 yards from me.

A house in multiple occupancy? An HMO, report to the council and H&S. Whilst they're at it you could probably point out that their place of work is also not up to normal hygiene, construction and fire standards..
