Thedelldays Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 what I would give for our lot to have got them in the cup this season.. could you imagine shaw, puncheon, lallana, morgan, cork ramirez against that lot
hypochondriac Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 I saw that too. Don't they *have* to get the 10 points this year, as they can't start a 2nd season in the same admin? I guess the only wriggle room would be if they came out of admin in the summer? Nope. After a period in March some time they come off next season.
Crab Lungs Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 There is always next year. Hopefully we will play them again soon, if they survive. And hopefully, we can absolutely trash them
stevegrant Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 Nope. After a period in March some time they come off next season. Not true. This isn't the "10 points for going into administration" penalty, which is the only one where the Football League has a cut-off date. This is an abitrary penalty which can be applied at any time.
Appy Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 Don't people know QPR sung that "you're nothing special song" last Sunday and now Pompey think it's theirs?
hypochondriac Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 Don't people know QPR sung that "you're nothing special song" last Sunday and now Pompey think it's theirs? See the commentators laughing about it again despite them nicking it last week and reusing it again here.
Crab Lungs Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 Chanting "let him die" to the Walsall player who was floored... Classy.

Oh OK my apologies then. So will most likely be deducted this season then. Bit of a shame if they are already relegated because the minus ten then becomes meaningless.
stevegrant Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 Worth pointing out that last season, Fabien Brandy was playing Sunday League football in Manchester. Conceding goals to pub team players
St Chalet Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 Glad to see plucky Walsall applying themselves so well in 'their cup-final'
mcjwills Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 1-0 Brandy LOLZ I'd love a double brandy or even a triple brandy.
Colinjb Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 That be 2. Oh dear oh dear! Dumbaya is having a 'mare.
eurosaint Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 And they wonder why we take the p!ss out of them !
Waterside.saint Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 That be 2. Oh dear oh dear! Dumbaya is having a 'mare. Yessssss you beauty
Hurricane163 Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 Oh dear. The plucky blue few are a goal down!! Ha ha.
Crab Lungs Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 Oh dear. The plucky blue few are a goal down!! Ha ha. Check the score again, you'll be pleasantly surprised
St Chalet Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 The irony is they are all posting how everything will change when the PST gets the keys to Fortress Fatpipes, they are well and truly ****ed.
Waterside.saint Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 Check the score again, you'll be pleasantly surprised Heinekin don't do 1/2 time scorelines, but if they did...
tony13579 Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 (edited) 2 nil down :-) HT Edited 4 January, 2013 by tony13579
eurosaint Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 If it wasn't for the comedy value I would never watch sh|t like this ! The standard is truly appalling, Walsall are dire and there are no words for just how bad the Skates are ! Surely they will come out 'all guns blazing' in the second half ?
stevegrant Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 @officialpompey Half time: Walsall 1 #Pompey 0 Oh look, they're re-writing history again
Waterside.saint Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 All it will take now is for Walsall to score 1 more and they will be 3rd off the bottom. And if the Iron can score against Shrewsbury tomorrow they'll be one more position further down. Happy days
Tamesaint Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 Pompey are currently 33/1 to win tonight on Bet 365. Could this be an opportunity for Farmery to "jnvest" the PDT's ill gotten cash and to get them some decent funds for thetakeover?
The Kraken Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 This is great stuff. So they've hounded out whipping boy Luke Rodgers. They've hounded out whipping boy Izale McLeod. It seems the last whipping boy, Agent Howard, has been hounded out and is pretending to be injured until he can secure his future elsewhere. So I wonder who the latest whipping boy is? Off to POL to find out.....
Sheaf Saint Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 What with all their financial problems and precarious league position, a good cup run will be good for morale and put some money in the coffers. Oh, hang on....
OldNick Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 The FA cup final certainly has lost it's appeal, there are loads of empty seats at the ground..........oh. That Menzies they have got reminds me of John Barnes.... As he looks now not in his prime
eurosaint Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 486 of the bestest there. Top, top turnout Quality though, not quantity
chocco boxo Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 Quality though, not quantity Totton take more away than that?
Jack Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 I'm sure when we played there last (on the Tuesday) the attendance was something like 4.5k and we were responsible for about 2k of that. Just putting things into perspective for the followers of that massive club down the road.
hypochondriac Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 I'm sure when we played there last (on the Tuesday) the attendance was something like 4.5k and we were responsible for about 2k of that. Just putting things into perspective for the followers of that massive club down the road. Yep and I was there. They said they had never seen so many in their supporters lounge. Ran out of food about half 1!
Waterside.saint Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 Totton take more away than that? With respect, you are failing to compare apples with apples. Is Totton's support the bestest, most passionate in all the land? Have they a bell-ringing ***t whose half-naked acolytes never fail both to inspire the faithful and strike fear into the enemy? No? Thought not
Colinjb Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 Yep and I was there. They said they had never seen so many in their supporters lounge. Ran out of food about half 1! On a Tuesday night!? To be fair, both the away attendances we had there were excellent.
trousers Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 @SteveClaridge: At wallsall for game, might be one or two PFC players who need reminding how lucky they are to play for such a great club!
hypochondriac Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 On a Tuesday night!? To be fair, both the away attendances we had there were excellent. Nah was a Saturday I believe...
hypochondriac Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 Commentators: 'Portsmouth are swimming against a different tide to everyone else.' FFS...
trousers Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 @Sgazmandoogle: You have to tip your hat to the #pompey fans. Despite everything, they've taken twice as many supporters to #walsall, as #fulham did to #wba
Lallana's Left Peg Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 Our last away game at Walsall was a Tuesday night. We battered them but lost 1-0. Remember the massive over reaction on here after the game as those at the match said it was 'one of those days' (it was) and others who just saw the result and wrote off any chance we had of automatic promotion. But you are right - the supporters club (a few quid to get in) did run out of food and they had about 2 people serving and all the food on a few trays and kept having to cook more. Then once you finally got your food after 45mins of queuing you'd turn around to see there wasn't a spare seat anywhere to be able to eat your food and instead had to eat standing up for yet more ballache.
Colinjb Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 Nah was a Saturday I believe... Nope, 1st March 2011, Tuesday. Jon Macken scored the only goal in a 1-0 loss. It was a Saturday game in Dec 09, finished 3-1. Murty played that afternoon, travelled down after my work Xmas party.
Saint Lindford Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 The only quality in truely awful game is coming from Walsall. 80 mins and the skates have a shot on target.....
pedg Posted 4 January, 2013 Posted 4 January, 2013 come on walsall, one more goal and the blue few drop yet another place.
