Lazlo78 Posted 14 August, 2012 Posted 14 August, 2012 "I wantssss my four million poundssss player budgetssss. Stupidss Hongss Kongsssss hasss it"
sidthesquid Posted 14 August, 2012 Posted 14 August, 2012 I'm happy with a close game - their lads are going to be physically & emotionally drained on Saturday, a much tougher and more important game. Bring on a Skate equaliser and extra time.
dvaughanwilliams Posted 14 August, 2012 Posted 14 August, 2012 Anyone know how many of the bestest are there? 750 according to Solent
Crab Lungs Posted 14 August, 2012 Posted 14 August, 2012 750 of the bestest. Not that bad... Lots of mums and dads I expect
Chez Posted 14 August, 2012 Posted 14 August, 2012 750 according to Solent fair play to them, it's a ****ing long drive for a midweek game
toofarnorth Posted 14 August, 2012 Posted 14 August, 2012 Good to see that they are taking the cup seriously and playing their strongest team
JRM Posted 14 August, 2012 Posted 14 August, 2012 cornwall a nice place for a holiday this time of year, but fair play 750 is a good turn out down there mid-week in this cup, navy connection probably helps no doubt they all have somewhere to stay. come on plymouth , hold on. hahah bl00dy hell Plymouth have a player called PARIS COWAN-HALL
Minty Posted 14 August, 2012 Posted 14 August, 2012 Good to see that they are taking the cup seriously and playing their strongest team It's their strongest team AND their weakest team, all at the same time. It's their ONLY team.
Matthew Le God Posted 14 August, 2012 Posted 14 August, 2012 750 according to Solent BBC Radio Devon say 200. Either one of them is wrong or they both are.

dvaughanwilliams Posted 14 August, 2012 Posted 14 August, 2012 That 750 figure came from someone texting in to Solent, so highly unreliable. Total attendance 5,318.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 14 August, 2012 Posted 14 August, 2012 hahah bl00dy hell Plymouth have a player called PARIS COWAN-HALL just scored
dvaughanwilliams Posted 14 August, 2012 Posted 14 August, 2012 I was just thinking that some people may have been over optimistic by putting bets on big scorelines. Shows what I know Plymouth 3-0 up.
Matthew Le God Posted 14 August, 2012 Posted 14 August, 2012 (edited) I have a funny feeling he might be a Pompey academy reject, actually You are right he is. So on the night Pompey are forced to play their youth team, a player they released so they could sign senior players leading to their downfall scores against them! Irony? Edited 14 August, 2012 by Matthew Le God
Ohio Saint Posted 14 August, 2012 Posted 14 August, 2012 navy connection probably helps no doubt they all have somewhere to stay. Sleeping with their sisters?
Shrek Posted 14 August, 2012 Posted 14 August, 2012 Fair play to those who put the bets on! And to Russell H and Breville for all the texts
andysstuff Posted 14 August, 2012 Posted 14 August, 2012 And just as they were thinking the boys could 'do a job' Saturday over on POL. You couldn't make it up really.
St. Neil Posted 14 August, 2012 Posted 14 August, 2012 Money! New car, caviar, four star daydream Think I'll buy me a football team
JRM Posted 14 August, 2012 Posted 14 August, 2012 Wish I put more than £20 on now, bet the odds on a bournemouth win have already shifted!
Crazy Diamond Posted 14 August, 2012 Posted 14 August, 2012 New car, caviar, four star daydream Think I'll buy me a football team Haaaa
Monk Posted 14 August, 2012 Posted 14 August, 2012 What were the odds on Plymouth to win by three or more?
stevegrant Posted 14 August, 2012 Posted 14 August, 2012 Wish I put more than £20 on now, bet the odds on a bournemouth win have already shifted! 10/11 with Ladbrokes
Minty Posted 14 August, 2012 Posted 14 August, 2012 Couldn't help notice the Derby - S****horpe score whilst following the Skate game on BBC website tonight... sounds like fun.
stevegrant Posted 14 August, 2012 Posted 14 August, 2012 What were the odds on Plymouth to win by three or more? At one point probably about 8 or 9/1, but most bookies closed their "winning margin" markets either last night or this morning. 4+ was 18/1
dvaughanwilliams Posted 14 August, 2012 Posted 14 August, 2012 Solent are trying to talk up the team and calling it 'a good performance'. A 3-0 drubbing by a team in the league below, who they described as playing hoofball poorly and being 'dire'. That's 'a good performance'!!! It sounded like the kind of thing we had to suffer in the Championship relegation season: patches of decent play, ruined by naivety in important areas that get punished ruthlessly. If they have to play with this team for too many games they'll be mired in a relegation fight before Christmas.
trousers Posted 14 August, 2012 Posted 14 August, 2012 @TomCoull: Listening to Oxford v Bournemouth, 0-0 gone to Extra Time. Doesn't bode well for sticking 6 past Pompey on Saturday! Save some energy lads!
saint_jas Posted 14 August, 2012 Posted 14 August, 2012 Could be on for a winner betting against p*mpey this season. And I agree this is so much better than liquidation seeing them trying to get a team together...

hypochondriac Posted 14 August, 2012 Posted 14 August, 2012 Neil really laid into Chainrai and Portpin, saying they should just clear off, were being unreasonable and the Trust should be able to take on the club. Mark was responding with points about the PPs being there and Chainrai is a businessman and wants his money back, rightly or wrongly. Neil mentioned Mark speaks to Chainrai, Mark denied it at first but Neil persisted and Mark admitted he did. Neil, whilst basically being pushed off the microphone, finished off by saying that Appy thinks Portpin are a disgrace. It was classical listening. Apparently...
Jack Posted 14 August, 2012 Posted 14 August, 2012 Thankyou Skybet. I'll be lumping the profit on the bucket rattlers. (the Dorset based ones)

TopGun Posted 14 August, 2012 Posted 14 August, 2012 Excellente. It's going to be fun whatever happens.
trousers Posted 14 August, 2012 Posted 14 August, 2012 Apparently... Who's this Mark chap? Lots of Tweets slagging him off and bigging up Allen on Express FM
View From The Top Posted 14 August, 2012 Posted 14 August, 2012 No matter how much they throw a paddy, BC will be taking over. Now, if he didn't, would the PST offer then have to be put to creditors & then have them 28 day cooling off period before exiting admin? And, if BC rejected the PST offer and then they exited admin' without an agreed CVA am I correct in saying that would be another -17?
Crab Lungs Posted 14 August, 2012 Posted 14 August, 2012 Thankyou Skybet. I'll be lumping the profit on the bucket rattlers. (the Dorset based ones) My winnings has just been deposited by Skybet so I thought I'd do the same - however, when I perused the fixtures the Skates/Bompey game isn't there... Hmmm
Yeovil Saint Posted 14 August, 2012 Posted 14 August, 2012 What were the odds on Plymouth to win by three or more? I got £50 on at 10/1, thought I was being too greedy there, but well done Wotton and the boys in green.
Thedelldays Posted 14 August, 2012 Posted 14 August, 2012 If this is a taster for them supposedly getting away with it Will do me. Let's see them live within their means for the first time in about 12 years
dubai_phil Posted 14 August, 2012 Posted 14 August, 2012 Dear oldnick. Enjoy the next few weeks matey. Did I win Truckie's sweepstake then? They've started the season....... Go me
Tamesaint Posted 14 August, 2012 Posted 14 August, 2012 Bompey are 12/1 with Bet365 to win by 4+ on saturday.
