Unless they aren't actually guaranteed anything under FCR - seems to me all bar TBH will have reached some sort of deal before the 10th now.

Where is the money coming from to fund the compromise agreements? I thought TBs brief was to do the best job for the creditors? He seems to be paying more out on this than the 500K they've been offered? Together with his fees increasing daily how can he possibly have done his best for them?

Oh i wouldn't have thought they're actually paying the compromise agreements are they? That'd be a bit weird! Nah they're just agreeing that that they owe them the money and sometime down the line they'll be another reckoning bout another unpaid debt... All as per normal!

They will have printed it like that on purpose as (a) to get a sympathy vote from 'the nation' and (b) to send a shot across the Football League's bows to say "look, if you don't let us sign more players we can't afford soon YOUR league is going to be a laughing stock. "

 

In other words, they want people to laugh at them as an attention seeking ploy.

 

Cue the Football League taking pity on them next week. A smart move by Pompey in the knowledge the FL will roll over like a puppy.

It just demonstrates that they're unable to have civilised discussions or banter without their knuckle draggers getting ferociously angry and upset. Or their board owner going off in a huff...

 

What Guided Missile did could hardly be described as attempting civilised discussions or banter. I think their just fed up with the knuckle draggers from here posting on their site.

It is bizarre

 

Every other team has to watch what they spend so as to avoid getting into financial trouble and potential administration and then liquidation.

 

The Skates seem to be immune to the final element and just revert back to stage 1 again

What? Have you seen the conditions of the Golden Share? They can't do anything without the FL saying so.
