Should pompey start next season, and start it without penalty, AND with the debts wiped out, it will be a fVking disgrace.

The FA Cup will still sit there in the record books, Ben Haim will drive his over-chromed Tatmobile around town, and somewhere in Portsea a young cancer sufferer will be denied some support that could make their last months in this world a little less harrowing.

And today UnAppy talks about offering generous terms to some old loser??

And this is why they must liquidate... it really is a disease down there, even Voldermort is showing symptons of the pompey delusion. I think the only character I recall not getting the disease was Paul Hart, reference Eugeen Bop!

The funniest option would be for the pompey trust to buy the club and have all the dumb skates fork out £1000 for their share.

Then a year down the line go bust again.

That would be priceless! Mind you its pure fantasy I think, I can imagine a lot of skates have had to withdraw pledges by now to pay for holidays, kids school uniforms and so on... Their 'high net worth individuals' Al-Fahim and Howe havnt bothered to even pledge £100 yet!

I hope Appleton's comment act as a warning to anyone saying they'd rather see PFC 'struggle in L1' than be liquidated. Make no mistake, if they avoid liquidation, they'll do exactly the same again, be pushing for promotion and destroying the lives of countless more creditors.

Absolutely, they have demonstrated they are above the rules, or at least they can break alll the rules and spin their way away from punishment.

The price they are paying is huge...... It will take generations to recover from.

Can they recover? Look at Luton, Bradford etc... pompey will lose their current support and all the kids in the area will turn red.

Pinch me... is this a dream?

SHALALA... WTFILN

When something seems as off the wall as CVA2 there is often a reason we haven't seen, somehow they need to survive to a certain date to get the next PP?

It's the only reason I can think of for them to be acting all Klingon. The PR is simply Soooooo false, they must be trying to avoid a final wipe

I have a theory... maybe Chainrai has masterminded another clever scheme here, similar to last time... a big f*ck you to everyone else...

Birch has confirmed pfc can start the season still in admin.

Chinny and the PST go head to head in a battle of the CVAs, dragging the process along for many more months...

BINGO! Its now october and its parachute time!

Chinny scoops the lot and sends it to the Virgin islands never to be seen again.

Followed by immeadiate liquidation and legal action against anyone who dares to question the great Chainrai...

Maybe?

The conspiracy theorist in me has been mulling over a similar hypothsis for a few weeks now. I'm convinced (as someone who makes things up can be) that Birch is somehow in 'collusion' with one or more of the players in this game (be it Chainrai, The Football League, HMRC, etc) in order to stretch things out until the next parachute payemnts arrive.

I'm not sure whether the Trust are part of this hypothetical collusion or whether they are unwittingly being used by those stringing it out but it all points to a manipulation of the situation....In somone else's opinion of course....

Not exactly a conspiracy, it's his job to get as much money for the creditors as possible.

Of course, he's going to have to be creative with dealing with TBH and friends. I'm still trying to figure out how he's going to handle that little problem.

short of some form of oldco into newco thing where their contracts are no longer valid, but the newco somehow retains its golden share, I don't see what can be done. They ain't walking, so someone is going to have to pay them at some point.

ROFL

The PL are Spineless, Toothless, and won't do a damn thing against one of their wonderful "Club" members

But of course, they're not a club member anymore, which makes all the difference

The PL hate them for the negativity they brought down on their priceless brand a couple of years ago

Its fairly obvious the FL dont wish to do anything that will push them under. Any cynical owner will know that and so uses that to their advantage. I suspect the PFA and FL lawyers are looking at any possibilities they can to evade paying the outstanding wages to the players. 'But the PP will cover that' i hear people cry but as i see it if Pompey go into liquidation any pp will stay with the Pl and leave the PFA and Fl holding the baby

OK, I hear what you say, but they WILL get the PP's from the PL won't they ??

Can't quite see how the PL "hate" them, they blindly stood by while Pompey casually wiped off circa £150 Million of debt, and immediately started racking up another circa £60 Million, something that the likes of Luton, Bournemouth were not given time to do

some details on the pst bid.....

Trust bid is not wholly dependent on the share scheme.

Details will be released later today but the outline plan is a CIC set up with the High Net Worth Individuals in partnership with the Trust.

The % ownership by the Trust will depend on how many pledges are fulfilled by fans. So the more fans can get together the bigger a share they will have in the club.

Basically this is similar to the way Swansea operate

A skate trust fan on the board type just mentioned this:

You're going to have to wait until the bid is published; without a doubt, however, the issue will have to be addressed but Mr. C. is going to have to take a 'haircut'.

Also, according to what Mr. Chainrai has said about being the owner of last resort, we should now expect Portpin to withdraw gracefully shortly after the bid is published.

Quite a good point actually!

I will become the reluctant owner again

Are you prepared to forgoe some of the money you are owed if the right buyer comes in and takes over the skates?

Definately... (nods head furiously, pauses)... DEFINATELY

Will he take a haircut for the trust? Will he f*ck!

My position is secured. I will get my money back

God Bless Balram Chainrai

On a side note, I thought the Antonov money laundering extradition case should be over by now. However, it appears the Lituanian gov't have re-applied the extradition and are now claiming Vladdy nicked $600m instead of the previously claimed $300 odd!

Having asked the original question (didn't expect an answer BTW!) I go along with most of what you say but am appalled that you have included those highlighted in bold !

But, as you say like, everyone to his own like, it would be a sad world if we all agreed like, know what I mean like ??

Premier League Rule B66.

Any distribution to a Relegated Club under the provisions of Rules C.36, C.38 or C.40 may be

deferred if, on or before the date of the distribution, the Relegated Club has been given notice

under article 4.5 of the articles of association of the Football League which has been

suspended. Upon such notice being withdrawn the deferred distribution shall be paid but if

in consequence of the notice the club to which it was due ceases to be a member of the

Football League its amount shall be added to the next distribution made in accordance with

these Rules.

2 scenarios I see.

PST buys the club.

Club has mahoosive wagebill.

PST cannot sack the players.

Players don't want to leave.

PST can't afford to pay players.

PST applies for Admin.

or

PST buys the club.

Club has mahoosive wagebill.

PST sells players and replaces them with little-known unheard of players

Fans stay away (used to marquee-signings like TBH and Kanu, Yakubu et al)

Club cannot afford to stay afloat.

PST applies for Admin.
