Corporate Ho Posted 21 February, 2012 Share Posted 21 February, 2012 IMO Chanrai of all the people ever involved in your club, is the one you morons should be worshiping. If it was not for his money Pompey would have been gone forever. He fell for a bad business deal and got the runt of the litter. Yes he has since run the club to try and squeeze some money back but i would say without doubt that if he could put the clock back he would never have got involved in the first place. ROTFPMSL. And you talk about me missing the point of the thread. Jeeeeeeeesus Nick Nack talk about "still not getting it". Did you not read the Judge's comments in court on Friday? Then you start posting stuff like this. "If it wasn't for Chainrai's money we'd be gone forever". You really, really, realy, really, really don't get what's been going on at Fratton at all do you? Investigative geniuses, all of you. Who the f*** is laughing now? Hopefully us, especially if the Judge's comments about Chainrai's debenture being suspect is proven and we lose £17m of the "debt" that I've been saying to you all along shouldn't have been debt at all. You're a bit of a pest Johnnykins but leaving the pest aside, I shouldn't gloat too much. Have a look and register your interest. Pass this onto every Pompey fan. If 20,000 people invested £100 that makes £2 million, if 50,000 invested £100 that would be £5 million. Many of us would invest more, me included. **** me!!!! Where are they going to find 200 people to invest 100 pounds, let alone 20,000!!! 50,000 people??? Come back on POL posing as a Pompey fan again and give us all a laugh It's been said before but it must be the hope that's doing the killing...in your case the last few remaining brain cells apparently. You talk about us clutching at straws (quite happy to admit that I'll take the p*ss out of each and every opportunity this long-running farce presents...tiny or, more commonly, humungously) yet your little Barbie fingernails cling to what mounts to nothing more than a throw away remark by the judge about investigating the Chanrai charge!!! What are the odds then Corpulent...little bet on the chances of it being proven? Of course you won't - you know how tenuously puerile that hope is but that, and a three year old's level snapback about owning only half our training ground, is all that you have got. Your increasingly desparate whines are showing signs of the meltdown you are now experiencing and it's just more and more fun for us!! You even know you have nothing but still you try...bless! Truly (and today there have been more promises of a conveyor belt of events to keep us amused..AA's challenge, the FL's lack of cooperation in loans to mention but two) this gift keeps on giving and giving and you epitomise the very essence of the hope borne out of ignorance, the straw clutching desperation, the increasing use of incontinence acronyms ...truly (again) you, Roesie of the toys, should perhaps seek help - but not yet - we are enjoying your meltdown (another Barbie too close to the fire?) far too much for that to happen any time soon. The only people certain of their debts being settled are the past, present and future football creditors from £16m of parachute payments still due. rallyboy Posted 21 February, 2012 Share Posted 21 February, 2012 so the rewritten CVA may not now be massive crunch time but I still reckon finding £1.2M for the child-maimer in 40 days will stretch them a little! Though by then Ho will have written that off, explained away the minor clerical errors that led to pompey becoming the laughing stock of world football, and cancelled the whole CVA. And of course found the deeds that shows that SMS belongs to the council, or the Triad, or whoever fits the myth.... Has anyone ever posted so many false claims on one thread?? More importantly, where is Lord Lampitt? Surely he hasn't murdered the nanny and fled to Namibia? I bet they find his Ford Corsair at Newhaven.... Hopefully Birch does retain low-key Lampitt to advise him on finance as he is the worst organiser of a budget since Storrie ploughed all of Rosie's savings into underwater casinos. She thought that was a proper shafting until Avram visited Harry, came in the kitchen and saw her down on all fours lapping up Chum, wiggling that pretty little Bulldog tail at him.... And when I say Avram came in the kitchen, in his defence his long-suffering missus did ask him to splash out on a new cooker.* Anyway, enough of much-celebrated Fratton legends who drained the club of cash while ushering them away from the big TV money forever, all performed with his trousers around his boney ankles, how's the new lad enjoying his first managerial job, is he turning into Cotterill yet? Other people's fault, whole world against us, life's not fair...? He must be nearly there, harsh refs, down to bare bones.... What do you have to do to be disliked down there? The damage done by Storrie, Grant, Cotterill etc and the glory boys of 2008 has left them where they are today - Kanu is still ripping them off everyday but they love The King. Yeah he's the King alright, the King of MASSIVE wages for minimal playing time, he can't run because his wheelbarrow of cash is too heavy and it's doing his back in. The same as Lawrence, won't cough up £400 to look at his own injury, but more than happy to trouser £3,000 EVERY DAY for dressing up like a footballer - and still they chant his name... The few are very forgiving - I thought that when I saw their cheery faces welcoming their rivals at Fratton the other month. I look forward to returning those feelings in April, if they make it. *same gag, 7th version.

Others may think he was the instigator of Pompey's most recent series of financial crises. Tamesaint Posted 21 February, 2012 Share Posted 21 February, 2012 (edited) Read this and then try to say that this bloke really exists!! Is it possible to be wrong on so many counts in one post?? Its post 1587 on this thread if you want to put it into its original context.. Clapham, you're a fine one to be talking about slective acceptance. You posted that we were losing £2m a month but I proved that we've knocked over £20m off our wage bill over the past year in wages of players we've sold. I don't see how you can disagree with what I posted. Similarly, you said that it would be cheaper to buy Newcastle than Pompey. Again, you were selective as you used a potential buying price of £60m as "some reports have said they've received bids of this amount". No mention of the fact that Ashley has repeatedly said he wants £100m for the club and despite me posting a report from Deloitte proving that they have debts of £238m which you denied was the case. You ignored this and failed to mention it in any follow up. Finally, when did I say we were debt free and operating at a profit? I said I believed we'd reduced debts considerably, a fact backed up by the amount of players we've sold and reports in "quality" (for want of a better word) papers. Most media outlets now seem to agree that our debt is down to somewhere in the mid £20m's and possibly even lower. The accounts you were talking about are around 18 months out of date. You seem like an intelligent guy but also seem to be falling into the trap a lot of the dicks on here fall into - dismissing what I say without actually reading or understanding it. Re-read what I said again. I accept that there are ongoing costs and that Storrie has said he can't rule out more players sales but our debts and operating costs have been reduced significantly since the figures you keep quoting Pure comedy gold.
