Chez Posted 4 February, 2012 Share Posted 4 February, 2012 Lot's of rumours that Pompey cancelled the printers and the caterers for the game last night. This would mean they had already decided it was off, but allowed Hull fans to start travelling today? Something fishy going on. There is also a rumour that the Hampshire constabulary told them they wouldn't police the game due to cash issues.makes sense to not have the programme printed when the game looked very dodgy. Nothing fishy about that. Just common sense. For once. As for Policing. Poopey only ever have to pay for policing inside **** park. Does that mean they could choose to go `all steward' or is their some requirement for inside stadium policing depending on the classification of the game? Wonder if undersoil heating was ever turned on?

PaulSaint Posted 4 February, 2012 Share Posted 4 February, 2012 So what are all of the possible scenarios for the blue few's future? Here are the obvious ones: Option A - some madman pays Chanrai £30 odd million for a broken flush - unlikely. Option B - they limp through to their court appearance and the judge pulls the plug - more likely but remember last time. Option C - they are (unfairly) lent money to limp on until the end of the season by the football authorities - wouldn't surprise me? Option D - AA fails to find the madman and pulls the plug and liquidates - hard to believe that Chanrai would want this but it may end up the only option? So what else could happen? Viking Warrior Posted 4 February, 2012 Share Posted 4 February, 2012 Just caught up with the latesr instalments to this thread. Am I correct in thinking it was hancock and his cronies who were against us going to stoneham/SMS along with other Liberal democrats? I mght be wrong But really annoys me is his comments Re Skatesville being steeped in traditions. If thet were that great they would have modernised their stadium years ago. Chez Posted 4 February, 2012 Share Posted 4 February, 2012 Wouldnt need collusion if they watered the pitch last night..................................assuming thier water hasnt been cut off of course.no need for that, ground rock solid in Southsea. All they had to do to not play the game was not turn on undersoil heating. But do they have any? I thought the Premiership demanded it. The fact is though that they needed the game on. Policing costs are small as football clubs only pay for officers used inside the stadium. Not a huge requirement for that with Hull probably bringing 600 down.
