Personally, I am still of the opine that Ali Al Faraj's real name is Arkadi Gaydamak; or at least that AAF was following AG's orders.

They're a bit slow off the mark there, mind you. Because of the perspective that we are afforded by reviewing the situation at arm's length, this theory had been expounded on here some time ago, along with other credible alternatives such as it being an exercise in money laundering, or a device to obtain development land in the heart of Skatesville.

 

Now that this guy has expounded this theory, it begins to gain credence with other Skates, but all they had to do if they wished to be kept up to speed on all of the ins and outs, possibilities, improbabilities, legal standpoints , etc, was to come on here, where Hampshire's football intelligentsia post (well, excluding Corporate Ho, obviously)

Storrie more or less admitting that Arkadi Gaydamak was the real owner in that telegraph article.

I think the bigger news is that the HMRC case against him is in his capacity of CEO rather than a personal tax issue. That'll be a 20 point deduction, then...

How can AA be very confident of agreeing a CVA if negotiations havent even commenced yet? Nonsense.

I'm sure this is what he meant to say. He's now admitting he knew it was Daddy's money - I'm sure he will be able to show how he shared those suspicions with the PL. He's complicit in everything that happened down there, and will be joining them in the toaster. Unless, of course, he's prepared to risk upsetting the gangsters by turning Queen's evidence - he knows where the bodies are burried, that's f'sure.

Prime example of whats wrong with the modern game. Yes we dislike pompey, and now they will be hit with points deduction due to admin and will probably spend a good number of years in the wilderness (or disappear all together) BUT what punishment will Storrie get ? Which club is next ? Just like Peter Risdale another one that pops up, takes his cut from football and then f*cks over fans hopes !

 

Of course Pompey deserved points deduction etc.. but who really suffers (and forget the pompey/saints divide for a moment). The players will move -loyalty means nothing, Grant will find another club, Storrie more than took his share SO is football properly policing itself - obviously no.

 

Storrie needs punishing - running off with one of the biggest salaries for a CEO in football isn't punishment.

That Telegraph interview sounds like Storrie in "come and get me. I'll spill all the beans to save myself plea" to me.

 

Spilling the beans on Gaydamak might help save his ass but it's probably not in PFC's interests to annoy the biggest creditor who owns all the land around their ground.

Back when we were having our troubles, we often said that our club was a national laughing stock...

 

But now that Andy Parsons has joked about them on national TV, they really ARE a national laughing stock lol

 

Missus had sky+ed it and when it came on even she peed herself with laughter.

Just revisit that statement - Spilling the beans on the inside dodgy dealings of a convicted Arms Dealer who is bound to have friends in the various mafias around the world, when your motor car & it's number plate have been shown on world wide TV and when everyone knows you live in Hayling Island and your address can be found by a trip to the planning department.

 

Yeah, spilling the beans on The Mob, that'll save his ass....:D

Trying to explain to a couple of Skates on another forum why O'Hara and Quincy shouldn't have been allowed to sign for them. It's like trying throw a rope round the sun.

One person is behind the downfall of Portsmouth.

 

It has all been orchestrated by ....

 

The same person who introduced Gaydamak to the club in the first place.

 

The same person who is a personal friend of Avram Grant.

 

The same person who is a personal friend Gaydamak senior.

 

The same person who has benifited from agent fees on 90% of the overseas transfers.

 

The same person who tried to divert the blame on the ARAB world by making up a buyer called AL FARAJ whilst employing a jewish manager(his Friend), plus a Jewish Lawyer and fraudulent (jewish) accountant.

 

Do a couple of Google searches on this man and pair it with Portsmouth, Gaydamak and Avram Grant.

 

Makes a very very interesting read.

 

The person ......Pini Zahavi Super Agent/Meddler.

 

All my personal opinion of course , but it all adds up if you do a few searches.

Has he not already had a call from the government? Her Majesties pleasure could await when HMRC take an even greater look into the financial structures of football, especially where Mr Storrie and PCFC are concerned. Remind me, when is he due in court again?

I get the feeling Pompey are about to give us the starkest example possible of what would have happened to us without Markus bailing us out...

 

I still don't think any of us can really see just how incredibly lucky we were to find our owner in the economic climate we were in.

 

Pompey are in a far worse position financially, with fewer assets, and in an even worse economic climate...

 

The only way I can see them possibly getting out of it is if someone has already made their money, and wants a challenge to spend it on, something to build from the ground up, somewhat like playing as Eastleigh on FM, and because there ARE a few people out there like that, they've still got the tiniest bit of hope.

 

Barring that though... are we really going to see the end of Pompey?

That might be so but has the administrator denied/confirmed that proof of funds has taken place?

I think the current owners reckon they persuade creditors to take a small slice of what they are owed, then buy the club out of admin, sell the ground and players, recoup as much of what they owed as possible, then walk away. I guess the club will survive in some form but royally you know whatted for years.
