LOL, they won't post my message.... so I'll post it here:

Player values are based on the value of their contracts, for example, if Nadir Belhadj had 2 weeks left of a £20,000pw contract, he'd be worth £40,000 and so on... contracts depreciate player value...

The skates on there are just making up figures: Belhadj, £5m, KPB, £4m... and so on LMAO

Matthew: Mr Mitchell said the statement of affairs shows the club owe Portpin LTD £13.5m and the HMRC want evidence of that.

'We haven't so far had an answer to that,' he said

Oops!

Not looking good

An automon civil servant/lawyer spreading his wings and smelling blood, a fat-lipped, slobbering greek still wondering how you dot a t - just lovin it.

POST OF THE DAY....

[Comment From Bob Bob : ]

It won't destroy a city. Only 15,000 people have turned up at the last two home games if you don't count away support. Some of those don't live in Pompey either. Most people in Portsmouth talk a good game (PTID) but only come out and support the team at Wembley or against AC Milan.

Interpretation so far.

HMRC believe that this is a fix.

They believe the admin is a con.

They believe like many on here tried to theorise that there were too many fishy pieces in the jigsaw puzzle.

They believe that the Administrator "May have his hands tied due to the financial nature of the agreement to pay his fees"

So far in their Lawyer speak they have been polite but incredibly caustic in their comments.

They believe that the whole shebang is a crock of lastminute.com firt year law student dreamt up Karp.

You can almost feel Mitchell grinning inside as he makes his speech and waits for the perfect moment to deliver the coup de grace.

Not how I expected it to go at all really did not expect the theatre and drama. Mitchell didn't write this speech in 18 hours!

Ouch

Some of the debate on here last night about whether Portpin lent money to PCFC Ltd. or to Falcondrone may have been prescient.

Posted

As an aside... spoke with an accountant of Mandric this morning... Apparantly he was asked for $30 million by PFC a few weeks ago to keep club alive ... Mandric declined for several reasons including the basis that he would just be throwing the money down a bottomless pit.

You do get the impression that Mitchell is like an actor who has been given a juicy overacting roll that he knows will steal the show...

On another note, we are now on almost 19,000 posts, which is more than Pompeys average attendance this season.

And facing him across the Court Room is Mr Android with a nice Parker Pen.

But I was sure we were only coming here today to cross the I's and dot the t's.

If anyone had any doubts as to who is pulling his strings, that very press comment could ONLY have been written by one man...

Pieces of paper by the looks of things.

Tanya Robins, possible saints legend in the making seems she is willing to be the whistle blower on all this.

"He said Tanya Robins had said Portpin LTD had leant money to Falcondrone, not the club.

He said: 'We say that the evidence of Miss Robins is that Portpin provided money to Falcondrone not to the club so its all very mysterious."

Supporters have not been able to just enjoy the football, no surprise the numbers are down. It's pretty depressing stuff and in fact stressful for many supporters. People deal with things in their own way and you cannot call them plastic or fake supporters if they don't all demonstrate the same characteristics.

Matt - I admire and share your optimism. Wouldn't it be ironic if, even with a points deduction, we still beat relegation and got to Wembley. I still believe we can do it.

Leant money???? I know I can't throw stones but surely it is lent!!!

It is not the 22 yr old who offered to buy money doing the report by any chance

Ooops.

And that choice of words again "Mysterious"

Poor old Pompey will now have to read through the transcript and refute every single Curioser, Mysterious, "Set of circumstances" Rather than allegations.

Oh and Chanrai isn't owed 17mil? how strange THAT is. I wonder how much the cost of admin was going to be? Let me see 17 - 13.8 looks like about yep

Where do people get the idea that a day at Webley is a money spinner? The final in 2008 we made 2million in revenue and then paid out 5 million in bonuses.

That might explain a bit, good business plan

So what does Tanya saying that signify then ?? Is that bad for PFC ??

If the money was not lent to PFC then he can't be a secured creditor.

Only my view, but I reckon she's blown the whistle, hence her resignation before.

Good girl.

Ahh,

fair point, i suppose it is a good move on her part, i suspect if everything comes out of the woodwork then there will be serious consequences
