Gingeletiss Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 ffs - case adjourned until 14:00??? What about my afternoon meetings! More to the point, what about my golf lesson!!!
pedg Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 oh good. I can go and wander off and do some shopping without thinking I am missing anything..... (They will probably go into admin in about 5 minutes then...)
Gravesend Saint Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 Lunch time - standard 12 - 2 - no reason to panic yet guys.

Matthew Le God Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 Adjourned until 2pm according to Sky. Judge needs her lunch after a busy couple of hours winding up small businesses.
hutch Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 It's 2pm here. I'll let you know what happened.
Arizona Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 A barrister sends a text from court.....wind up surely? awesome Note to self. Never attempt satire on the internet. Just got another text from the same guy. Apparently the hearing was delayed because Storrie has just remembered three sofas in the corporate suites he hasn't checked for lose change. If this isn't true then you have to promise not to post for 1 whole week. Can I chose the week? Only, I'm off to the Bahamas next January.
Nineteen Canteen Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 19C WTF are you on about? Are you trying to turn the best thread of all time into a MLT slanging match? Who mentioned MLT? Just reference to our darkest hour and showing some empathy as to how those Pompey fans are feeling. Thought losing a relative was a good analogy as that is how I felt seeing Fialka wheeled out as our backer last year. If Pompey fans feel they are losing a relative its not them who have been f u c k ing the club is it?
sidthesquid Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 Adjourned till 2pm The turd that wil not flush.......
sussexsaint Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 Lunch time - standard 12 - 2 - no reason to panic yet guys. This pretty standard I believe, espcially if they expect the case to go on a bit
Wibble Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 Why is Azougy there? http://twitter.com/bbc_matt
benjii Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 I wonder how much their debt increases in two hours?
Nineteen Canteen Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 Case adjourned till 2pm - weren't they hoping for 28 days? Well I laughed - about as much use.
SO16_Saint Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 SSN - Portsmouth wanted to be last on the list of cases being heard
Arizona Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 2 hour lunch break? WTF is it, a hog roast?
mdearlove Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 Southend and Cardiff cases adjourned for 28 days
Crab Lungs Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 The turd that wil not flush....... Haha, heard the saying a millions times before but that still made lol, particularly because it rings so, so true...
Nineteen Canteen Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 The turd that wil not flush....... The tail is probably sticking out of the water. Bleach and Brush required.
St Marco Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 Southend and Cardiff cases adjourned for 28 days Yeah because they paid some of their debt off yesterday they say.
dellboypete Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 2 hour lunch break? WTF is it, a hog roast? They'll be nipping into the Seven Stars behind the high court - very popular with all the legal types. Happens to be a great wetherspoons a couple of hundred yards up the road too - The Knights Templar
Liquidshokk Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 Haha At least we won't have to hear Andy Gray and Martin Tyler talk about the tough times on the south coast again if that happen's! LOL that really annoys me when Im playing.... Says were just not playing good enough and that we're surrounded in uncertainty! Dont they update the commentary in the updates?
Saint_clark Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 lol@ the amount of people on this thread... It's busier than a matchday thread. Haha goooooooooooooalllllll lambert yeeessssssssdsdds
Smirking_Saint Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 Case to be heard before 1pm according to SSN
hutch Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 Back on again. Before 1pm (according to "The News")
rallyboy Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 to roll up with Azougy in tow is madness! He may be there to look after the arms dealer's interests but the presence of a convicted fraudster could annoy the court and HMRC, thus escalating the hearing into a speedy liquidation. Very odd tactics, right from day one.
Channon's Sideburns Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 Apparently on the Skate feed, the judge asked for it to be moved to the last case in that session. I guess she feels she wants a bit of lunch before getting told tall storries... The Skate Paper are useless though, the reporter didn't even know why two cases were being heard - READ THE SAINTS FORUM, NUMBNUTS!!
bungle Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 The fact they asked to move to last makes me think they weren't that confident in getting 28 days...
St Marco Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 Portsmouth News guy saying it will be heard at 1pm "The registrar said: 'I will hear it second time round. By second time round I mean at the end of the list' That does not sound good for Pompey.
Pancake Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 2 hour lunch break? WTF is it, a hog roast? Pub.
benjii Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 Pompey are pinning their hopes on some sort of emotional argument it seems or "someone rich might buy us". Either way - The court needs to consider whether they are solvent or not. Clearly they are not.
Channon's Sideburns Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 I'm imagining that the judge looks like Camilla Parker Bowles. Is that wrong?
Toadhall Saint Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 Pompey are pinning their hopes on some sort of emotional argument it seems or "someone rich might buy us". Either way - The court needs to consider whether they are solvent or not. Clearly they are not. Well if they don't get wound up would that be classed as solvent abuse? I'll get me coat....
Wibble Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 Azougy told BBC guy they paid 11m in back taxes since Oct http://twitter.com/bbc_matt
Whitey Grandad Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 Case adjourned till 2pm - weren't they hoping for 28 days? That still gives them 2 hours to find £7.5m
aintforever Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 Southend and Cardiff cases adjourned for 28 days Does anyone know if their cases are similar/better/worse than pompey's?
NickG Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 not seen it but had text from someone watching sky sports news and they are saying adjourned for 28 days??
Gingeletiss Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 Azougy told BBC guy they paid 11m in back taxes since Oct http://twitter.com/bbc_matt There by admitting, that they have been cheating HMRC for ages....nice one;)
bristolsaint29 Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 Why is Azougy there? http://twitter.com/bbc_matt Maybe he's going to pay it off with tanks and missiles
NickG Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 Southend and Cardiff cases adjourned for 28 days not seen it but had text from someone watching sky sports news and they are saying adjourned for 28 days?? just read text again and that;s what it said
Smirking_Saint Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 Jacob and Azougy turn up late ?? Really ?? To something so important ?? Just goes to show what a rag tag outfit they really are !!
AK Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 Does anyone know if their cases are similar/better/worse than pompey's? Cardiff have collected money and have assets to sell to pay the money owed so i think they should be alright. Southend paid £2.1m to HMRC in December but HMRC say they owe another £220k, Southend are arguing that the £220k was paid in the £2.1m .Anyway I think Southend are in a completely different situation to The Skates.
ottery st mary Posted 10 February, 2010 Posted 10 February, 2010 The naughty boyzz and a cardboard cut out of Al Mirage have been called to the court together with their pocket money. Slapped wrists and proof of any substantial monies to deposit to-day.....Is my guess.

I would say trousers down with a potty on their heads, and their todgers wedged between two halves of a floury bap !
