suewhistle Posted 23 April, 2019 Posted 23 April, 2019 I see Donald Trump will be visiting Portsmouth as part of his state visit. Nice subtle way of letting him know that Brits really hate him. Yep, 5th June. Must be worth £3.50 on a cheap day return from my local station to have the opportunity to give him the finger. Heard the news when I popped in to my 90 year old mum this afternoon. "Boo" was her immediate response!
aintforever Posted 23 April, 2019 Posted 23 April, 2019 I don’t like the ***t but is protesting at a D-Day rememberance service really the right thing to do?
eurosaint Posted 24 April, 2019 Posted 24 April, 2019 It’s in their hands but small matter of Sunderland away on Sat in front of 40000 plus. Any dropped points and Barnsley’s to lose. Won't Sunderland have a few fans as well ?? :)
doddisalegend Posted 24 April, 2019 Posted 24 April, 2019 Hopefully something funny happens. Like he bones a horrid local, or something.I thought that was only allowed if you where related, to said local, by blood in Pompey... Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
OldNick Posted 24 April, 2019 Posted 24 April, 2019 Pompey are obviously a good side at the level. Sunderland are as flaky as hell and so I fully expect a Pompey victory up there.

Pamplemousse Posted 27 April, 2019 Posted 27 April, 2019 Dropped points at Sunderland, automatic promotion no longer in their own hands. They've got Peterborough on Tuesday who need a win to stand a chance of finishing in the final play-off place. Don't win and Luton and Barnsley are up, minus an 8 point swing in goal difference.
Saints foreva Posted 27 April, 2019 Posted 27 April, 2019 Supposedly a flare was thrown from the Skates end into the Sunderland fans sitting in the tier below.
saint1977 Posted 27 April, 2019 Posted 27 April, 2019 Supposedly a flare was thrown from the Skates end into the Sunderland fans sitting in the tier below. I went on Ready to Go to see what this was about and there is a growing thread about this. ‘They’ve got some cretins in their support’ Barnsley in the driving seat now unless Luton totally implode.

whelk Posted 28 April, 2019 Posted 28 April, 2019 Linton are doing their best to throw it. They have 2 easy home games so not as hopeless for them as I hoped. Quite likely Luton and Barnsley will both still have to win their last game. Still let’s hope they choke midweek
Saints foreva Posted 29 April, 2019 Posted 29 April, 2019 The latest Portsmyth going around on Twitter....
Golden Balls Posted 29 April, 2019 Posted 29 April, 2019 ‘Pompey and trophies go hand in hand’ apparently. That’s right, England’s answer to Read Madrid have won another one, beating Horndean in a women’s match. Honestly, they really do think they’re huge! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Golden Balls Posted 29 April, 2019 Posted 29 April, 2019 The latest Portsmyth going around on Twitter.... They are absolutely desperate to get their own version of this. Difference being that it’s was Wolves in the 2nd round of the EFL]cup and was attended by 18k fans, higher than most gates they’ve got in their history. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190429/63bfada8a5207086b91aa4f16343103d.jpg[/img Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Cabbage_Face Posted 29 April, 2019 Posted 29 April, 2019 I don’t know why such a big club as them is making this so difficult. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Pamplemousse Posted 30 April, 2019 Posted 30 April, 2019 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahhahahahahahaha
Cabbage_Face Posted 30 April, 2019 Posted 30 April, 2019 Here comes the big comeback, the giant side of League one take that step back to their rightful place. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Pamplemousse Posted 30 April, 2019 Posted 30 April, 2019 2-2 now. Draw still not good enough though, they need to win.
CB Fry Posted 30 April, 2019 Posted 30 April, 2019 2-2 now. Draw still not good enough though, they need to win. They will.
CB Fry Posted 30 April, 2019 Posted 30 April, 2019 Aaaaaaaand there it is. Automatic promotion in the bag.
CB Fry Posted 30 April, 2019 Posted 30 April, 2019 Aaaaaaaand there it is. Automatic promotion in the bag.Aaaaaaand my scores app (Flash scores) just chalked off the goal they just awarded to Pompey. Bizarre. Still 2-2.
Heisenberg Posted 30 April, 2019 Posted 30 April, 2019 What do Pompey and CB Fry have in common? Both aving a mare tonight!
Pamplemousse Posted 30 April, 2019 Posted 30 April, 2019 Yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss HOLD ON POSH
Cabbage_Face Posted 30 April, 2019 Posted 30 April, 2019 It’s so confusing, a club of their size. Don’t get it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Batman Posted 30 April, 2019 Posted 30 April, 2019 oh LOL however, I would fancy them in the playoffs. Sunderland are a fecking joke
Chez Posted 30 April, 2019 Posted 30 April, 2019 Solomon Otabor is my new hero. What a star you are my friend. A play off failure (Charlton will go up by the way) and you will go down in Saints folklore
Chez Posted 30 April, 2019 Posted 30 April, 2019 oh LOL however, I would fancy them in the playoffs. Sunderland are a fecking joke forget the mackems, Charlton took the skates apart and will do so again.
Golden Balls Posted 1 May, 2019 Posted 1 May, 2019 Obviously it was all the ref and Linos fault according to twitter. Sunderland are more fragile than the skates, they won’t win the play offs imo. I think it’s down to Charlton to stop them. What a season if they fail. 11 points clear at the top, dropping a 3-0 lead to Southend, having a goal ruled offside last night that was pure comedy gold (check it out) and then lose in the play offs again. ALWAYS_SFC Posted 1 May, 2019 Posted 1 May, 2019 Luton and Barnsley Dirty skates to lose in 3rd minute of added time in play off final... (Fourth official put up 2mins) Its going to happen...
OldNick Posted 1 May, 2019 Posted 1 May, 2019 [/b] Its going to happen...Personally I would prefer them not to reach the final. A defeat in the 2 leg game will do. Im just going to aksmy Pompey mate what the date of our fixture with next season is, as he assured me we were playing them next season

stevegrant Posted 1 May, 2019 Posted 1 May, 2019 The disappointment would be much greater if they bottle it in the final.... all those miserable faces and blue face paint tears... would be brilliant and TCWTB might wet himself again.. Nah, losing in the semi-final would be more amusing, as they wouldn't even get the "big day out" at Wembley.
saint1977 Posted 1 May, 2019 Posted 1 May, 2019 Nah, losing in the semi-final would be more amusing, as they wouldn't even get the "big day out" at Wembley. Chez was signing John Marquis's praises on the main board's transfer thread. If it is Doncaster (unless the skates lose to Accy) then he is a major danger. 60 goals in 133 appearances - impressive stuff. 90th minute winner from him at the second leg in FP. If not, Charlton are dangerous in a prospective final (can see them doing Sunderland).
