Golden Balls Posted 9 April, 2019 Posted 9 April, 2019 Extending the ground to over 32k apparently. They are literally obsessed with having a ground bigger than ours despite hardly ever having the fan base to match ours [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
LGTL Posted 9 April, 2019 Posted 9 April, 2019 Over 32,000 the most important part for them!! More chance of them building a stadium on the moon.
Jonnyboy Posted 9 April, 2019 Posted 9 April, 2019 Sunderland really are ****e. Still three points and GD ahead.

Weston Super Saint Posted 10 April, 2019 Posted 10 April, 2019 I love the way that they "will need part of sub station land" and gloss over it as if it will be gifted to them no questions asked - even if they do get it, there are still some pretty scary access issues in that corner according to the sketch... I'm sure Trousers will be along any minute now to show us who still owns the 'sub station land'....

The location of such a important electrical source in the city threatens to hinder potential work to either stand, with the Milton end, in particular, regarded as a priority.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 10 April, 2019 Posted 10 April, 2019 http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/news/portsmouth-decade-high-demand-puts-fratton-park-future-under-microscope-1-8759302 Gonna be expensive, but if they don't pay the tax bill (standard down there) its sorted..
spyinthesky Posted 10 April, 2019 Posted 10 April, 2019 How much does it cost for a season ticket/match day ticket at Fratton nowadays? Presumably the cost will have to increase to help fund the upgrade and help pay increased wages as and when the team finally move out of Division 3
Danbert Posted 10 April, 2019 Posted 10 April, 2019 Back in the real world - development of Fratton Park actually consists in removing one of the floodlights they turned off in 2015. https://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/football/portsmouth-fc/floodlight-proposals-hint-at-portsmouth-s-plans-for-fratton-park-s-future-1-8884242

Saints foreva Posted 13 April, 2019 Posted 13 April, 2019 Sunderland really are ****e. Really really ****e.
rallyboy Posted 13 April, 2019 Posted 13 April, 2019 The league had better not mess up the fixtures again! I was assured all of last season that we were playing them this season, but when I checked last summer I couldn't find either game. I've now had nine months of being told that they'll be playing us in league fixtures next season, do we know when those games will be announced?

Danbert Posted 17 April, 2019 Posted 17 April, 2019 As well as being as dense as a cross-eyed wombat, Paul Merson is a paid-up member of the bestest: There were 19,000 at Fratton Park, you would have thought there were 100,000. What I did at Portsmouth was the biggest thing I did in my footballing career.
alehouseboys Posted 17 April, 2019 Posted 17 April, 2019 As well as being as dense as a cross-eyed wombat, Paul Merson is a paid-up member of the bestest: He was as high as a kite throughout most of his football career though. His head is fooked.
Shroppie Posted 19 April, 2019 Posted 19 April, 2019 Bastards are going to go up automaticallyNot necessarily. Drawing now. Sunderland have a game in hand. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
LGTL Posted 19 April, 2019 Posted 19 April, 2019 Win it 93rd minute with the most blatant handball you’ve ever seen. Cheating scabs.
Heisenberg Posted 19 April, 2019 Posted 19 April, 2019 Jumped on Pompey at 16/1 in the summer The large payout will certainly ease the pain. Championship is a whole new ball game and they will struggle without significant spending Cash out option just spiked upwards.....
OVER THE HILL Posted 22 April, 2019 Posted 22 April, 2019 Good so far , Scabs 0 Coventry 1 in a massive game.
Jonnyboy Posted 22 April, 2019 Posted 22 April, 2019 Tough day for skates and Sunderland today with both Coventry and Peterborough fighting for 6th place.
Saints foreva Posted 22 April, 2019 Posted 22 April, 2019 Skates are very long ball. Coventry playing some pretty decent stuff, should really be 2 up.
Hatch Posted 22 April, 2019 Posted 22 April, 2019 the home crowd booing gets a mention from the commentator. surely he must be hearing things !
whelk Posted 22 April, 2019 Posted 22 April, 2019 Reckon if Coventry could make play offs they will go up. Momentum
whelk Posted 22 April, 2019 Posted 22 April, 2019 It just occurred to me that it needs to be considered that they could be choking just when it counts.
Batman Posted 22 April, 2019 Posted 22 April, 2019 (edited) It just occurred to me that it needs to be considered that they could be choking just when it counts. They were fortunate to get all 3 points the other day (such an obvious handball) and Coventry have been by far the better side today. Pompey look like a bit of a shyt-house team today well, this game a swung around. All pompey now. Edited 22 April, 2019 by Batman
Batman Posted 22 April, 2019 Posted 22 April, 2019 Could see it coming Coventry just wasted too many golden chances
Saints foreva Posted 22 April, 2019 Posted 22 April, 2019 This Skates backline would get torn a new on in the Championship imo.
Lord Duckhunter Posted 22 April, 2019 Posted 22 April, 2019 Barnsley 3 up. Just need Sunderland to buck up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Saints foreva Posted 22 April, 2019 Posted 22 April, 2019 Sunderland are ****e. Pompey favourites for Autos imo.
saint1977 Posted 22 April, 2019 Posted 22 April, 2019 Sunderland are ****e. Pompey favourites for Autos imo. It’s in their hands but small matter of Sunderland away on Sat in front of 40000 plus. Any dropped points and Barnsley’s to lose.
jawillwill Posted 22 April, 2019 Posted 22 April, 2019 Well done Pompey, they're basically up. Can't see tjem throwing it away.
Huffton Posted 22 April, 2019 Posted 22 April, 2019 I will actually bw quite happy if they do get promoted. The gulf between L1 and the Championship has grown massively since we went up through. If they don't invest a ridiculous sum on the playing squad then taht team will get dry raped every week. If they do somehow find the money to improve the squad then sooner or later this thread goes back to the start. Win win!
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 23 April, 2019 Posted 23 April, 2019 Luton and Barnsley Dirty skates to lose in 3rd minute of added time in play off final... (Fourth official put up 2mins)
Batman Posted 23 April, 2019 Posted 23 April, 2019 Sunderland are doing their best to not go up. strange
jawillwill Posted 23 April, 2019 Posted 23 April, 2019 I see Donald Trump will be visiting Portsmouth as part of his state visit. Nice subtle way of letting him know that Brits really hate him.
trousers Posted 23 April, 2019 Posted 23 April, 2019 The natives are getting restless.... https://twitter.com/search?f=tweets&vertical=default&q=trump%20portsmouth&src=typd .... somewhat ironic for a community that welcomed dodgy character after dodgy character as owners of the previous football club that played at Fratton Park. I wonder if Trump knows that all he has to do to ingratiate himself with the good people of Portsmouth is to offer to buy a trophy for them (and worry about how to pay for it later)?
benjii Posted 23 April, 2019 Posted 23 April, 2019 (edited) Hopefully something funny happens. Like he bones a horrid local, or something. Edited 23 April, 2019 by benjii
