Pamplemousse Posted 29 November, 2018 Posted 29 November, 2018 Can't they break Financial Fair Play rules or something soon, we need some entertainment. Rochdale away in the FA cup on the weekend, one win away from being in the hat along with us... I know we're not in the best of form but we'd still beat them fairly comfortably, let's be honest.
Lord Duckhunter Posted 29 November, 2018 Posted 29 November, 2018 I know we're not in the best of form but we'd still beat them fairly comfortably, let's be honest. Really? Our bunch of fairies at Fratton, careful what you wish for. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
suewhistle Posted 29 November, 2018 Posted 29 November, 2018 Well, we obviously wouldn't play Cedric..
Pamplemousse Posted 30 November, 2018 Posted 30 November, 2018 Really? Our bunch of fairies at Fratton, careful what you wish for. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Easy, we went to top of the league Wigan and in the end were too much for them.
Manuel Posted 30 November, 2018 Posted 30 November, 2018 I know we're not in the best of form but we'd still beat them fairly comfortably, let's be honest. My biggest fear of relegation is being in the Championship with them, and us still not able to get our sh*t together on the pitch.
Huffton Posted 1 December, 2018 Posted 1 December, 2018 Nothing ever changes down there, if they don't get promoted this thread could get very funny once again. From a very close source, they are flying up to Manchester this weekend whilst their usual (executive) team coach is driven up empty to meet them at the airport. How many other league 1 teams can afford to spunk money like that?

Golden Balls Posted 2 December, 2018 Posted 2 December, 2018 We SHOULD beat them but our current crop are so mentally weak they’d capitulate. Would loved to have got them in the Koeman days. I reckon we’d have got double figures. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Golden Balls Posted 4 December, 2018 Posted 4 December, 2018 David Sharpe, former Wigan chairman is on TalkSPORT right now after recently selling the club. Pompey fans and Mr Disney might want to listen in. - “The Championship is unsustainable” - Wigan has among the lowest wages in the division and they had to spend £10m a year before transfers just to keep the club going in the Championship - would rather be in League 1 than the Championship. - it’s not possible to survive without huge investment. - The family are glad to get out now as they can’t meet the level of investment required. Pamplemousse Posted 7 December, 2018 Posted 7 December, 2018 Next season will see this thread come back to life, the fans already are getting ahead of themselves, I can't wait for the crash and burn. And it'll hurt them because we got out of the Championship with the click of the fingers

Don't worry yourself Mack we will stay up, as we did well under the Tank driver but now we have the Fuehrer. No doubt the morons down your way will add to the never happened dock strike, to that Ralph is the direct descendent of Adolf. Im glad we don't call you scummers anymore as it is a childish chant like you got in the playground from the thickkids who didn't have the brain to construct anything intelligent,
BaffinsPondLife Posted 8 December, 2018 Posted 8 December, 2018 Oh dear. Someone's been drowning his sorrows a tad too much.

He is a relatively decent Pompey fan and can give and take with a bit of humour, the sort of exchanges we should look to have with our nearest rivals. However a different type of response may be called for if the 'Toy Salesman' deigns to return to the fold.

Cabbage_Face Posted 12 December, 2018 Posted 12 December, 2018 They got some tough games coming up. All top sides. This will tell us if they will go up automatically or be in the roulette of the playoffs. They have to go up this year, or big trouble.
Pamplemousse Posted 15 December, 2018 Posted 15 December, 2018 Another two points dropped. Sunderland have two games in hand and Luton are closing the gap too

They have to go up this year, or big trouble. I'm not sure which will be funnier, them missing out on promotion by loss in the play offs, or them getting promoted then getting utterly battered each week in the Championship, which is what will happen if they don't find some major investment to improve the squad.
