St Chalet Posted 15 May, 2016 Posted 15 May, 2016 Can I start laughing yet? Go easy, don't want too much excitement for you in one day!
Pamplemousse Posted 15 May, 2016 Posted 15 May, 2016 Of course, the referee and Sky was involved in a massive Football League conspiracy, otherwise, without the huge following of skates, the other clubs would go bankrupt #fact
andysstuff Posted 15 May, 2016 Posted 15 May, 2016 Anyone want to post a report on the meltdown that is POL
St Marco Posted 15 May, 2016 Posted 15 May, 2016 Haha what a bunch of muppets. What a **** team. Queue Crook to come out talking about how it was their cup final and they got all the decisions. The refs were ****, wotton shouldnt have been on the bench etc
Whitey Grandad Posted 15 May, 2016 Posted 15 May, 2016 Go easy, don't want too much excitement for you in one day! Very true, nurse. I've already had a glass of wine and a celebratory pint this evening. I want to leave room for my Horlicks:)
Waterside.saint Posted 15 May, 2016 Posted 15 May, 2016 I may never stop laughing about this one. Every time I feel a bit down, all I'll have to do is remember that injury time goal by Argyll and I'll be back in my happy place
fanimal Posted 15 May, 2016 Posted 15 May, 2016 WHAT A DAY! BETTER THAN COULD HAVE HOPED FOR JUST CREAMED MYSELF!!!!!!
Pamplemousse Posted 15 May, 2016 Posted 15 May, 2016 With Grimsby promoted, they can enjoy a Fish Derby next season

badgerx16 Posted 15 May, 2016 Posted 15 May, 2016 Bloody hilarious. Please post some POL quotes Maybe BSL is easier with the extra digits and webbing.
Pamplemousse Posted 15 May, 2016 Posted 15 May, 2016 POL quotes (all directly copied, spelling errors and all) Thuggery gets youpromoted Will be cheering on anyone but them in the play offs. Dirty *****! I not giving Plymouth any fookin credit bunch of dirty bastards I think the manager is clueless. As long as we keep progressing we'll be fine. he's made some really bad decisions over the season. I'm actually raging at this though, Ref in the first leg was to blame for this tbh. Another season in this utter utter sheyte league , I don't know if I can take it ffs
yellow&blue Posted 15 May, 2016 Posted 15 May, 2016 Bloody hilarious. Please post some POL quotes Out "signing" ??
Toomer Posted 15 May, 2016 Posted 15 May, 2016 Going to be a good day at work tomorrow taking the p155 out of a Spud and a Skate.
Waterside.saint Posted 15 May, 2016 Posted 15 May, 2016 Now that the wheels have finally fallen off their 'promotion or bust' rag and bone cart, it will be fascinating to see how they finance their next season in the basement
fish fingers Posted 15 May, 2016 Posted 15 May, 2016 Out "signing" ?? Still referring to Maradona I assume
Whitey Grandad Posted 15 May, 2016 Posted 15 May, 2016 Out "signing" ?? Yes, making gestures with the hands and fingers.
Guy Posted 15 May, 2016 Posted 15 May, 2016 Maybe BSL is easier with the extra digits and webbing. http://www.signbsl.com/sign/skate
Toomer Posted 15 May, 2016 Posted 15 May, 2016 Yes, making gestures with the hands and fingers. Double check the number of fingers.
OldNick Posted 15 May, 2016 Posted 15 May, 2016 are we to do a minutes applause at 92 minutes at the next game
Pamplemousse Posted 15 May, 2016 Posted 15 May, 2016 Another quote from POL. This is from their equivalent of alpine A match that appears to have been a microcosm of our season: of the players' failings and the manager's.I don't have any quibbles with the outcome: the pre-season favourites backed by an average gate of 16,300 regressed during the season. Mustering sixth in the basement was always a poor cumulative showing. 'Promotion and no messing about'- was that not the mantra? Remember how we saw players left out of Cup ties? All in the name of promotion. *Possession and no penetration. *Dismal use of subs- eg. Chaplin. *Poor signings like McGurk and Barton- and the loanees. *Poor at defending set-pieces *Conceding late goals- the manager hasn't told us why, let alone been able to sort it out. *Playing one upfront *Playing for one half. *Lack of width. *Only once winning three in a row. *Beaten five times at home in 2016 in the league. *Five goalkeepers- he signed all but one of them. You make your own luck. The manager's failures are numerous. He HAS failed. Getting this great and big club out of the cesspit of the basement league backed by gates almost twice as large as the next best. Remember Mick McCarthy's words? 'Weird' if we don't go up. Or Eddie Howe' eulogising Pompey? Or Shaun Derry's brutal assessment of under-achievement? We deserve better. Raise the bar of ambition. The manager had a clean slate after the dross went. He had a good budget. He signed players on permanent deals from higher divisions, divisional rivals couldn't. He failed. He ought to do the right thing. He should resign on Monday morning. WE DESERVE BETTER. The managers in higher leagues at Derby and Sheffield United for similar poor outcomes have gone.
Whitey Grandad Posted 15 May, 2016 Posted 15 May, 2016 Another quote from POL. This is from their equivalent of alpine He does have a point.
PaulSaint Posted 15 May, 2016 Posted 15 May, 2016 "Sha la la, la la la la la, shah la la.................................."
Toomer Posted 15 May, 2016 Posted 15 May, 2016 Wonder what odds you could get for them to go into administration again.
saint lard Posted 15 May, 2016 Posted 15 May, 2016 The end to a beautiful day just got so much better! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
OldNick Posted 15 May, 2016 Posted 15 May, 2016 not a mention yet on Sky sport, surely it should be the main news that the biggest club with bestest fans would be Breaking News
Waterside.saint Posted 15 May, 2016 Posted 15 May, 2016 Just think, in years to come when they're still flapping around in the primeval swamp of bottom tier/non-league football, or threatening to emerge from it, we'll always be able to remember this and have another good laugh at their expense.
badgerx16 Posted 15 May, 2016 Posted 15 May, 2016 Wonder what odds you could get for them to go into administration again. A lot less than 5000/1
Jonnyboy Posted 15 May, 2016 Posted 15 May, 2016 Out "signing" ?? Yep - spending beyond their means as we speak.
CB Fry Posted 15 May, 2016 Posted 15 May, 2016 Another quote from POL. This is from their equivalent of alpine [emoji38] He's bang on to be fair. They should have finished in the auto spots all day long. I remember saying way back when that the very best we could hope for was an agonising play off semi defeat. And the boys delivered in effing spades. That's four seasons in the bottom tier now, right?
Jonnyboy Posted 15 May, 2016 Posted 15 May, 2016 I 4-1 enjoyed that our record breaking result today finished 4-1.
saint si Posted 15 May, 2016 Posted 15 May, 2016 Is anyone putting a banner over one of the M27 motorway bridges? Would be a nice sight on the way home for the away fans...
