Snopper Posted 22 February, 2015 Posted 22 February, 2015 What time does the open top bus parade start?
suewhistle Posted 22 February, 2015 Posted 22 February, 2015 It wasn't meant to be a open top bus parade.. http://travel.aol.co.uk/2013/01/29/double-decker-bus-roof-ripped-off-railway-bridge-crash-hampshire/
ericofarabia Posted 22 February, 2015 Posted 22 February, 2015 The Match report by Factless Allen or Jordan Cross is going to be an absolute masterclass in one sentence hyperbole, with tales of derring do of how their plucky heros went to to toe with a team that held the mighty Man Utd to a draw recently, but showed The CL wannabees how to do it properly. Move over Wayne Rooney - make way for Matt Tubbs to lead the England squad to a brave new future!! Interestingly, I've tried a few times to get onto their web page, but no joy!! Obviously the 250,000 Southsea Islanders trying to find out the route of the open top bus today to welcome back their all conquering gladiators.
rallyboy Posted 22 February, 2015 Posted 22 February, 2015 I think the most admirable thing about their whole season is that the fans have never given up on the team or the manager, they have stood shoulder-to-shoulder throughout all of the tough times, never booed, never been negative, and have been an inspiration to sports fans everywhere. More passion than a little furry fruit.

Chez Posted 23 February, 2015 Posted 23 February, 2015 Locals and the bus company, First Group, are uncertain as to what exactly caused the crash. However, the Mail reports that the bridge is signed as being 3.6 metres high, while a double decker bus measures 4 metres. brilliant

Height of bus; 4metres, but following two administrations reduced to 2.2 metres. "More passion than a little furry fruit" - Russell Grant?

Weston Super Saint Posted 24 February, 2015 Posted 24 February, 2015 Anybody got a copy of their accounts yet to see how solventist they currently are? The trust accounts were delayed because they apparently had to tie in with the club accounts and we know the trust accounts are now finally completed, ergo the club accounts must also be so. Anyone [Trousers] brave enough to dig out the full accounts as it's been a few days since we had a good laugh at the bestest...

trousers Posted 25 February, 2015 Posted 25 February, 2015 Is it just me or would it be more amusing for them to make the playoffs and get knocked out rather than their season drift into mid table obscurity?
CB Fry Posted 25 February, 2015 Posted 25 February, 2015 Is it just me or would it be more amusing for them to make the playoffs and get knocked out rather than their season drift into mid table obscurity? Nah. The pleasure is in the nothingness. 13th place in L2 could not be more irrelevant.
Torres Posted 25 February, 2015 Posted 25 February, 2015 Imagine the the poor referee who would have to take charge of a playoff final and cup final rolled into one.
Torres Posted 25 February, 2015 Posted 25 February, 2015 Nah. The pleasure is in the nothingness. 13th place in L2 could not be more irrelevant. The irrelevantist.

Tamesaint Posted 25 February, 2015 Posted 25 February, 2015 A work colleague who supports Oxford United to off to Nottarf this weekend to cheer on his boys. What advice shall i give (apart from the obvious like make sure that your jabs are up to date ).

What advice shall i give (apart from the obvious like make sure that your jabs are up to date ). Tell him to make sure he enjoys the BIGGEST EVA FOOTBALL GAME HE'LL EVA GO TO EVA!! and not be overawed by the most passionatest fans in the world, or the most intimidating library he's ever been too. Oh and of course he should remember that the locals don't have tourettes, it's in fact normal and expected behaviour to froth at the mouth and shout SCUMMAH'S at anything that wears red (or for that matter isn't married to their relatives and can read/write).
eurosaint Posted 25 February, 2015 Posted 25 February, 2015 You know you're #tinpot when..... "Fans cheer win" makes headline in local rag... As opposed to "fans boo loss " which of course never happens ( booing that is, not losing ! ) as they are the bestest !
