What are the chances of another court case delay? Or might they actually meet to set an actual, real date for the actual, real hearing? ...in about mid-March?

the Trust are in a really strong position now - they have exclusivity, they have all of their funding in place, so this deal should be complete by Wednesday.

 

We'd better book a venue for the Nutjob Thread-Closure event.

I could do this Friday but I'm not about Saturday.

The on-loan Sunderland midfielder turned in one of his best displays in his short spell at Fratton Park during the 2-0 loss at Bournemouth.

 

And he pointed to a moment in the game when he understood the difference the vocal backing from the travelling Pompey fans can make to a player.

 

Reed explained: ‘I’m enjoying it down here.

 

‘You see how much this club means to the fans here. I went into a tackle over near them and they all roared for me.

 

‘I tackled their lad quite hard and he had a little whinge, so our fans started getting on his back a bit.

 

‘But when you get that kind of support it gives you that little extra boost.

 

‘It really helps you to keep going for the 90 minutes and I want to do my best to help this club get a few results.

The Pope is resigning at the end of the month. There is no truth in the rumour that he intends to buy PFC.

No but he'll be a free agent and they could do with bolstering their squad. Maybe he could "coach" the youth team, I've heard these religious types are good at that?

Rodriguez figure seems to go up every week, but nothing compared to Chaplow's fee, which must have been paid with a Wonga loan. It was £50k when it started.

I would suggest that HMRC offerd no evidence if the hearing lasted less than a minute. I would speculate that the payment was made late, after the petition had been issued.

 

 

This is probably true and Notts County not likely to admit same.

 

In reality they did not pay when they should have done after repeated requests.

 

Pompey would never do such a thing...........they just would not pay.:rolleyes:

Surprised to see Hartlepool as big as 10/11 for Tuesday's game. Not much has changed since they beat them 1-3 at Fratton a couple of weeks ago has it? Tempting to combine the pleasure of them going bottom with a nice payout.

So, from 376000 we can "pack the park" with 31000 plus

 

Whilst Skatesville, from 442242 can "Pack Their Park" with 10000 Bestest

Why would anybody trust Wikipedia for something like this? As you rightly point out, it is ridiculous including somewhere as far away from Portsmouth as Havant, with its massive Leigh Park council estate and not including places that are closer than that near Southampton. Ditto, if Gosport and Lee on Solent are included, which are across the water from Portsmouth, then why not the waterside areas too? Where does Portsmouth end towards us and Southampton start? Fareham? Titchfield? Locks Heath? Bursledon?

 

In any event, these figures are over a decade out of date.

I couldn't believe what I saw yesterday, as soon as Bournemouth scored the first goal loads of drunken Pompey fans run down the bottom pushing over children and people in wheelchairs trying to get at the Bournemouth fans.

 

Sadly, after reading Twitter yesterday after the game it does seem that it did happen. One of the "twitterers" had photos of what happened and has forwarded them to the
