bungle Posted 8 July, 2009 Posted 8 July, 2009 Not giving any money to that club. Will be at Cheltenham on Tuesday.
stevegrant Posted 8 July, 2009 Posted 8 July, 2009 Yep. Couldn't make either the Eastleigh or Totton games, and won't be able to get to Cheltenham either, so I'll be making the most of this one.
Manuel Posted 8 July, 2009 Posted 8 July, 2009 I can't find much info on ticket details. Just turn up on the day?
Michelle Posted 8 July, 2009 Posted 8 July, 2009 Not giving any money to that club. Will be at Cheltenham on Tuesday. Part-timer. You aren't gonna beat me this year. Fact.

Spades Posted 8 July, 2009 Posted 8 July, 2009 If the weather is nice, me and my friends are planning on training it up and hitting the beach early afternoon before going to the game
proevosaints Posted 8 July, 2009 Posted 8 July, 2009 If the weather is nice, me and my friends are planning on training it up and hitting the beach early afternoon before going to the game Few words of advice. Firstly go to the right side of the beach its nicer! Secondly bmth's ground isnt that close to the beach so you'll need to bus it
Spades Posted 8 July, 2009 Posted 8 July, 2009 Few words of advice. Firstly go to the right side of the beach its nicer! Secondly bmth's ground isnt that close to the beach so you'll need to bus it Lol, thanks for the advice... i have been to bournemouth several times before so i know the distance between ground and beach... and i also prefer the left side of the beach
Gordon Mockles Posted 8 July, 2009 Posted 8 July, 2009 Will hopefully be like Hughes first game down at Dean Court, full of Saints. I think I'll be making an appearance. Hope it doesn't rain! Looks likely. :fball:
pilsburydoughboy Posted 8 July, 2009 Posted 8 July, 2009 Lol, thanks for the advice... i have been to bournemouth several times before so i know the distance between ground and beach... and i also prefer the left side of the beach Is that the left side;)

Jesus Reigned Posted 8 July, 2009 Posted 8 July, 2009 If I'm not working overtime I'll go; at least I now know I've got a few away trips to finance....
proevosaints Posted 9 July, 2009 Posted 9 July, 2009 Lol, thanks for the advice... i have been to bournemouth several times before so i know the distance between ground and beach... and i also prefer the left side of the beach By Far the worst side! C'mon we're the billionaires club now, stuff bournemouth lets all go to sandbanks beforehand!
Raven on the wing Posted 9 July, 2009 Posted 9 July, 2009 Count me in. Seem to think they closed the bar at the ground early last time we were there and Powell got sent off - cant think which was more annoying !!
the boy from saints Posted 9 July, 2009 Posted 9 July, 2009 I'll be there if it's not raining. Apparently the away bit is uncovered. By the way I'm a left side fan. Mods, can we have a poll please!!?
Michelle Posted 9 July, 2009 Posted 9 July, 2009 Train tickets bought, a whopping £4 return Railcard, perchance?
RedWillie Posted 9 July, 2009 Posted 9 July, 2009 By Far the worst side! C'mon we're the billionaires club now, stuff bournemouth lets all go to sandbanks beforehand! Boscombe is the new Sandbanks .....apparently ! and much closer. Handy for cheap knocked off stuff and some 'gear' from dodgy scousers..!
rocknrollman no2 Posted 9 July, 2009 Posted 9 July, 2009 If any of you find yourselfs around Sandbanks, how about popping in and saying hello to our old manager?
Wade Garrett Posted 9 July, 2009 Posted 9 July, 2009 I went to Bournemouth on Tuesday to pick up my golf clubs. True story.
letissisgod Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 Wade, interested in the new golf clubs, where did you get them ??? and what did you get ???
Castro 1 Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 The Police have requested The Portman pub near the ground is home fans only tomorrow. Not sure about The Queens Head (also close to the ground) but there is a Witherspoon in Boscombe high street so that would be the best bet!

Not sure about The Queens Head (also close to the ground) but there is a Witherspoon in Boscombe high street so that would be the best bet! Presume you mean the Queens Park? I would be very surprised if that wasn't home-only as well. I might head towards the town centre and get a taxi to the ground.
ladysaint Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 Dont forget your 4 for 2 on the train, think it works out about £5.50 each return.
stevegrant Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 Dont forget your 4 for 2 on the train, think it works out about £5.50 each return. Or if you book in advance, you can get a return for £4, although you are booked on a specific train in each direction.
1976_Child Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 I'll be there... which train station is the best get off at? Pokesdown or Bournemouth? Which boozer is best as well? see ya all there
The9 Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 (edited) Not giving any money to that club. Will be at Cheltenham on Tuesday. Annoyingly I will be at Cardiff Airport on Tuesday, and in Spain by kickoff. If they'd played it on the Monday night I'd have been well chuffed. Going to Bjorn-mouth though. Edited 10 July, 2009 by The9
Jesus Reigned Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 If shedloads of Saints fans turn up tomorrow, does anyone think or know if we're all likely to get in? I'm not sure that 1350 tickets is enough, and the last thing I want to do is get up there and not get in!! I can't see the Bournemouth fans selling out the rest of the ground, so maybe they'll give us more of the ground if more than 1350 turn up?
smackalec Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 where is the best place to park? how much? and i cat get there till about 2.45. will there still be tickets?
saint_stevo Posted 10 July, 2009 Posted 10 July, 2009 i wanna know bout parking as well.......? And how many are likely to make the journey? Can't be f*cked to drive up there and not get in, may text either the9 or Granty and ask either of you to pick me up a couple of tickets as i have to work til 1ish..............
