Saint_clark Posted 8 July, 2009 Posted 8 July, 2009 Have you heard Play since its been back? Jeesh come back Stuart Dennis ;-) I gave up after 5 minutes. Who's the idiot with the stutter on there? Think it was around 6 o'clock.
SOTONS EAST SIDE Posted 8 July, 2009 Posted 8 July, 2009 SWIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS OHHH SWIIIIIIIISSS swiiiisssss I'm buying stock in Edam Cheese (thats swiss i hope)You'd be wanting Emmental!
Rogerfryisalegend Posted 8 July, 2009 Posted 8 July, 2009 here you might need this... LMAO! One thing that did catch my eye in his statement: "I believe we have a superb opportunity to rebuild this great club. This will require resources, planning, hard work and patience," he told BBC Solent. "We should not expect instant success, but our fans, employees and stakeholders can expect 100% commitment from me and my team" Not sure what he meant by that bit.
SOTONS EAST SIDE Posted 8 July, 2009 Posted 8 July, 2009 This bit sounds the most interesting! "We will assemble a strong management team at every level of the club".
Pip Posted 8 July, 2009 Posted 8 July, 2009 I'm going to get out my video of all the Saints fans at Cardiff in 2003, recapture that pride and family feel and forget the bit in between. Onwards and upwards, this man sounds as though he knows what the club means to the community and what needs to be done.
Frank's cousin Posted 8 July, 2009 Posted 8 July, 2009 LMAO! Dont get paranoid - stakeholders is a normal expression for all those with an interest in the clubs success - fans, staff, players, management, community etc and naturally him and his family...
Under Weststand Posted 8 July, 2009 Posted 8 July, 2009 Was well impressed with his first statement strong management team throughout the club. Cant get a stupid grin off my face
Red and White Army Posted 8 July, 2009 Posted 8 July, 2009 Have to say that makes me feel so much more happier with what he is saying. He is basically saying what we all wanted to hear, the management will be strong at every level (bye bye Wotte then) and he is here for the long term and planning for the long term. Isn't he keeping Wotte? Wotte ever - this is truely good news I think! Hope to see a lot more about the plans soon!
Wes Tender Posted 8 July, 2009 Posted 8 July, 2009 I am going to buy one of these to celebrate Why would you want a Swiss Army knife with the Arsenal manager's surname on it? Get the Victorinox version with just the cross.
J Bizzle Posted 8 July, 2009 Posted 8 July, 2009 I would quite happily offer my brother to be his rent boy.
sunrise Posted 8 July, 2009 Posted 8 July, 2009 SWIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS OHHH SWIIIIIIIISSS swiiiisssss I'm buying stock in Edam Cheese (thats swiss i hope) That's a dutch cheese, you want to buy some Gruyere or Emmanthal. At last - we have a future.... WOOT!
SaintRobbie Posted 8 July, 2009 Posted 8 July, 2009 "I believe we have a superb opportunity to rebuild this great club. This'll require resources, planning, hard work and patience." http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/s/southampton/8136389.stm "We will assemble a strong management team at every level of the club." The key statement from which he will be judged IMHO. I can do patience and hard work. But will be hoping that he gets this right very early on.

Mole Posted 8 July, 2009 Posted 8 July, 2009 I like the fact he's 61 (unless of course he dies on us) because this means Saints is gonna be a hobby like when my old man got an allotment when he retired.
