So pleased that its all over and the future of sfc has been secured sounds like we have a much more successful business orientated owner than the sham of the pinacle group too!

However don't expect us to be buying expensive players Markus has already stated that squad investment will be very gradual and he will be wise with his funds

Markus told BBC Solent: "I believe we have a superb opportunity to rebuild this great club. This'll require resources, planning, hard work and patience.

He continued: "We should not expect instant success, but our fans, employees and stakeholders can expect 100% commitment from me and my team.

"We will assemble a strong management team at every level of the club. We will act rapidly, but also plan for the long term, because I am here for the long term.

"I also look forward to the club re-engaging with the fans and the local community. We cannot succeed without their backing."

Only wish that previous idiots had learnt from this simple philiosophy....

Indeed, it has been sadly missing in recent years, as if the fans did not matter. I sense that will all change now !

As the legendary Mr Partridge would say........back of the net!!!!!!!

So ****ing happy I may **** my pants. Work cancelled for rest of day to be replaced with an inane and stupid smile on my face. Have just texted a skate I know to inform him that "We are now considerably richer than yow"

Get in there, we are ****ing back Saints rise from the ashes.

Too right. The plan?

Year 1: Stay in League 1, with Wotte? If so move to Year 2...

Year 2: Build for promotion and playoffs... new manager?

Year 3: CCC survival

Year 4: CCC play offs

Year 5: CCC Promotion to Prem

Year 6: Consolidate in Premiership

Patience.

YYYEEEEEAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

So happy, been waiting for this for too many years.

Hes going to be sensible with his money and not go crazy which i am more than happy with, good, stable, steady improvement over the next 5 years and onwards. Something that can unify the fan base, we can stop these petty arguments and support the club by renewing your STs' and by buying new ones, even if its just an extra seat to put your pie on!

Could this day turn out to be one of the most important in Saints history?

****ING GET IN THERE!

I'm going to buy a season, even though I can only get to 75% of matches.

Let's all get into St Mary's and celebrate!

As I've mentioned in other threads I'll be driving through Switzerland on my way from Italy for my August visit. I might get myself a Swiss flag as they're just the right shade of red and white... How many shall I get, any orders??? I'm also going to put the Saints sticker back in my car window.

What a relief, thank goodness we still have a club..
