Weston Super Saint

Recommended Posts

I feel like someone has just lifted an enormous lead weight off my back. I'm still stunned at how stressful this has all been, and I currently live thousands of miles away from Southampton.

I think I'll go home, crack open a few beers, and cry like a baby.

Get in!!!!!!!!

Im with you on that!! Can't wait to get home and open a few to many! Its time to party baby!!!!!!!!!!!

Markus is my hero, markus is my hero la la la la la

Ok, ok...

Anyway, regarding Wotte, it's Marcus's money and club. He can do what the feck he likes for now, IMO and with my support. I was genuinely worried for the entire club for a long, long time.

Yep I will get behind Wotte's appointment if he says he is keeping him. Just means we need to be more patient in our expectations for next season. We are being set up to stay in League 1 for a season, hopefully. And then push for promotion. OK so be it. Just don't relegate us again Wotte.

Computer says yes

That's Michelle Hunziker - Swiss-born, works for Italian TV as a presenter. Presented the nightly satire show "Striscia la Notizia" on Canale 5 for a while...

Not sure if there is any link, but I'll be first in the queue if she turns up at St. Mary's!

No I think I said to you weeks ago surely a City the size of Southampton would always have a football team.

I was worried about Pinnacle however so very pleased with the new owner.

According to SSN, Mr Liebherr is not going to throw money at the club but build sensibly and similar to QPR. Right way to go IMO.

Also, I'm delighted for Wotte that after his dignity and professionalism he looks likely to get a chance to move us forward.

Just hope everyone will get behoind the new owners, manager and players.

Agreed, I said elsewhere Wotte deserves to be part of our future. Has conducted himself very well and I'd say he has shown he believes in this club which is worth a lot in this day and age.

Thank god it is all now finally over.

All hail our new owner :)

He has a great name too (mine is spelt different)!

Onwards and upwards for the mighty Saints, really look forward to hearing his plans for the club!

Thank you Mr Liebherr, we got our club back!

YYYEEEEEAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

So happy, been waiting for this for too many years.

Hes going to be sensible with his money and not go crazy which i am more than happy with, good, stable, steady improvement over the next 5 years and onwards. Something that can unify the fan base, we can stop these petty arguments and support the club by renewing your STs' and by buying new ones, even if its just an extra seat to put your pie on!

Could this day turn out to be one of the most important in Saints history?

****ING GET IN THERE!

£2.5 billion?

We don't want to get greedy, if he could just buy the stadium outright and spend one or two hundred million on the team then I'd be more than satisfied.

Does this mean everyone on here will just be positive and optimistic for a while now?

I found out what his name means when translated into English. It means 'Rupert Lowe'

Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!

LOL

I feel so relieved and happy at the news, I even raised a laugh at this idiotic blather.

Echo report says

Markus Liebherr was attracted to Southampton by a number of qualities which include the Club's rich sporting heritage, loyal fan base, first class stadium and training facilities and the potential for the Saints to regain their rightful place at the higher echelons of English football.

At last, someone has finally seen our potential yeeee haaaa

He's got the stadium hasn't he, or have I missed something?
