The most attention chorley and nick get is threads like this on here.

Why the obsessive hatred?

If you don't like them fair enough , but why go on about it?

So when Sky phone them and ask "What do Saints fans think about x" they should reply "Sorry, I am not representative of the fans. I suggest you ask each of them what they think - here are all of their phone numbers" ?

I've never understood the antagonism aimed at fans talking about Saints on the telly. It's not like the TV is the font of all truth and accuracy is it...

No need to re read your post as my post was directed at the person who started the thread.

No worries fella, but you quoted me?......seems we have the same opinion

people make utter fools of themselves when they complain about illingsworth..

why dont they go on his site and ask him yourselves if you have a problem...

he has never EVER claimed to be the voice of the fans and when he says "WE" when talking about saints...errm, dont we all..

utter embarassment you cause yourselves

My only issue with Illingsworth is that he isn't very good on the media.

I don't think he's rabid or insane - just not very articulate. His line on SSN a few weeks ago "The thing that most people will say about Mark Wotte is that he's Dutch" was a particular low point.

I wonder whether this forum could democratically elect a "representative" who was able and willing to appear on/in the media, through a poll.

Posting and speaking in front of a camera are two very different things, how many get nervous when posting ? plus I would imagine most of us only have a face suitable for posting(not saying NI or RC are pleasing to the eye)

See, I would steer toward FranksCousin but they would have to cut to a break before the second question was asked !!!

Well, that's shattered my illusions.
