Spades Posted 7 July, 2009 Posted 7 July, 2009 (edited) Had a cheeky word with Wayne Thomas today at the game. He said 'Its yellow, kind of like the torquay or mansfield colours, just a plain yellow kit' Assuming it may be off the same design as the plain white england kit perhaps? So there you go... for once in my life i am ITK Oh and he said that the players modelling it when its revealed are Paul Wotton and Lloyd James Edited 7 July, 2009 by Spades
AlfredKo Posted 7 July, 2009 Posted 7 July, 2009 If it is made by umbro, it must look like the Sweden home kit though. Is still nice.

Tac-tics Posted 7 July, 2009 Posted 7 July, 2009 I've seen the Umbro "proto type" a friend off mine at uni is on placement with Umbro, he is doing sports science in which they look at sports performance etc, nutrition, clothing, equipment etc. He was shown the template for our away kit as well as Birmingham City's which was black and yellow trim, which Im yet to see officially in the flesh or media wise. But anyway, he has stacks of material and template's where the Saints yellow one was on it. Its similar to the template of the Brum away design template but with yellow as the main colour and royal blue on a closed neck trom and sleeve.
Tac-tics Posted 7 July, 2009 Posted 7 July, 2009 p.s however it did not have the flybe.com sponsorship on it, just a white strip on one template and the other three where plain.
doggface Posted 8 July, 2009 Posted 8 July, 2009 Had a cheeky word with Wayne Thomas today at the game. He said 'Its yellow, kind of like the torquay or mansfield colours, just a plain yellow kit' Assuming it may be off the same design as the plain white england kit perhaps? Interesting... Thanks for the info! Unfortunately though, there is no way the design is a replica of the new England home. Although the designs differ to England home, the only umbro sponsored club which is using the 'tailored by umbro' range is manchester city. The results of which are fantastic IMO.
Saint Bones Posted 8 July, 2009 Posted 8 July, 2009 Well they say Yellow is the easiest colour to see. Might helpsome of those waywards passes. Hmm - speaking of Flybe - and sponsors in general, what happened with them when SFC went into meltdown ?
Iowsaintsfan Posted 8 July, 2009 Posted 8 July, 2009 good, easier to get behind the team at away games - YELLOWS, YELLOWS, YELLOWS
The Saturday Boy Posted 8 July, 2009 Posted 8 July, 2009 This is the Brummies kit - http://www.bcfc.com/page/News/NewsDetail/0,,10412~1664264,00.html Love the action shots!

Nexstar Posted 8 July, 2009 Posted 8 July, 2009 Urgh, dunno about birmingham's. Hopefully there is a third kit.
RedAndWhite91 Posted 8 July, 2009 Posted 8 July, 2009 Goodo, I love a yellow kit, will be buying that regardless if it's good or not! COYY!
