You'd have thought that a number being moved from a computer in switzerland to a computer in the UK, with Internet speeds as they are these days would be seconds ;)

Just who is buying us then? Quote from BBC;

"The bid has not come, as reported, from siblings Isolde and Willi Leibherr, or their Leibherr Group company."

Someone else in their family I think.

Anyone else got that "I'm a Saint therefore I'm a pessimist" feeling that this won't end up being connected to the Leibherr family and/or Group, even tenuously?

Where has it ever been announced by Fry or the bidders themselves that they have a connection with the Leibherr Group?

After being confirmed with Swine Flu today and being told to keep myself in Isolation for 48 hours, at last it looks like there could be some good news heading my way.. Its been a long time, but at least its finally looking like that I will have a club to support next season :)

I haven't got rid of all those 'Wilde About Mike' ones yet. I hoped to flog them when Fialka saved us.

LOL at constantly crappy journalism online ...

"

A member of the family behind the Swiss-based Liebherr Holdings group is thought to be behind the purchase.

The bid has not come, as reported, from siblings Isolde and Willi Leibherr, or their Leibherr Group company. "

It sort of makes sense. The money is coming from the Liebherr family, but not from Willi or Isolde, or from the Liebherr company itself.

Just listened to the news on Solent, the only talk of takeover was about Pompey, no mention of us.

Keep listening then. For some reason they talk about the saints stuff in the news bit and the pompy stuff in the sports bit..

I believe he was highlighting the poor spelling....:)

i wouldn't be at all surprised if it is someone we have never heard of

all this talk of the swiss and liebherr in particular looks like a smokescreen....

I think he was referring to the spelling, to be fair!

More fool you...

I've got a lorry load of "Swiss Don't Miss" and "We Love Alpine" unisex t-shirts. I've also managed to get back my investment in 'Jackson' t-shirts through fortuitous outside circumstances.

3 fer a tenner.

You may joke, but we actually had a batch of 'Harry Redknapp' T-Shirts made, weeks before he buggered off back to P*mpey: http://www.t-shirtsforgoalposts.com

Not a great business decision, given his lack of loyalty in the past! At least the Le Tiss one's are ageless!
