TopGun Posted 1 September, 2008 Posted 1 September, 2008 Chance to go top if we beat Durham this evening under the lights.

stevegrant Posted 1 September, 2008 Posted 1 September, 2008 Hampshire won the toss and are batting. 32/0 off 3.5 overs, Lumb and Adams opening. Lineup: Lumb, Adams, Carberry, Benham, Dawson, Ervine, Pothas, Mascarenhas, Tomlinson, Tahir, Taylor
saintkiptanui Posted 1 September, 2008 Posted 1 September, 2008 Everytime you put a score up either england or aampshire lose a wicket.
stevegrant Posted 1 September, 2008 Posted 1 September, 2008 Everytime you put a score up either england or aampshire lose a wicket. I'll keep off this thread for now then...
saintwarwick Posted 1 September, 2008 Posted 1 September, 2008 Can we ask people not to post scores on here until the end of the innings, that way hopefully we won't lose too many more wickets
TopGun Posted 1 September, 2008 Author Posted 1 September, 2008 Looking at a reasonable score but I wonder why Pothas is batting at eight?
saintwarwick Posted 1 September, 2008 Posted 1 September, 2008 Looking at a reasonable score but I wonder why Pothas is batting at eight? I thought it was a very good and our highest pro 40 score. Let's hope for some good bowling, hopefully the weather will hold out as it's been p1ssing down up here and I believe it's heading your way, hopefully the weather forcaster has got it wrong.

Living in Manchester, I'm happy to take more rain on behalf of the Hampshire bowling attack!

Jesus Reigned Posted 1 September, 2008 Posted 1 September, 2008 It's now ****ing it down in Woolston so I imagine it is in West End, or at least soon will be.
Gully Posted 1 September, 2008 Posted 1 September, 2008 77-6, Dawson and Tahir bowling well in tandom.
stevegrant Posted 1 September, 2008 Posted 1 September, 2008 81/7, Billy Taylor takes the catch 131 needed off 9 overs
Saint Charlie Posted 1 September, 2008 Posted 1 September, 2008 Dawson is a real talent, we won on D/L method.
corsacar saint Posted 1 September, 2008 Posted 1 September, 2008 Another excellent performance. I am sure that Stuart Clark, said how highly he rated Jimmy Adams, when he was here last year.[ Got to feel sorry for Michael Brown though- they cannot drop anyone except Benham to accomodate him, and he was terrific as well tonight].
Gully Posted 1 September, 2008 Posted 1 September, 2008 IMO Brown should concentrate solely on the 4 day game, allow him to stay more fresh and improve at it more.
keithd Posted 2 September, 2008 Posted 2 September, 2008 amazing how quickly a season can turn round. 4 or 5 weeks ago looking at relegation on both fronts, now potential champions in pro40 and i fully expect us to be safe in the championship....
Weston Saint Posted 2 September, 2008 Posted 2 September, 2008 Excellent win. When the rain came I was up in the Robin Smith. Tim Tremlett came up and told me and a few others I was stood with, including Mr Bransgrove, that Nigel (Head Groundsman) had looked at the radar, that the rain would last a while, then clear enough to get the game back on until the next lot of rain which would then be persistant. We were quite cool that the game would be back on, as it was.
