jeff leopard Posted 4 August, 2009 Share Posted 4 August, 2009 Not half as good as Russell Abbott's rendition, I want it at my wake. I'm pretty sure that Russ Abbott's Atmosphere is a different tune to Joy Divisions. I don't recall Ian Curtis singing the lines... "Let Me Take You There, and You And I'll Be Dancin' In The Cool Night Air! oh Oh oh What An Atmosphere! i Love A Party With A Happy Atmosphere, Mmmm Yeah, music Everywhere, and Soon We'll Be Dancin' In The Cool Night Air!" and I don't think Russ Abbott has the gravity to sing... Not wishing to invite alternative views, as I know some do not agree and hope that they will respect yours (and others feelings here, but after I also lost a family member to suicide it is/was one of the saddest experiences I have ever experienced, it really does leave the heart feeling very heavy indeed. Special K Posted 5 August, 2009 Share Posted 5 August, 2009 Something That is Gone - The Waterboys. Usual thing, a bird. Gymnopedies no 1 - Satie - reminds me of someone who suffered too much when they shouldn't have. Strangely enough; I Found Lovin' - The Fatback Band - I was listening to this when i got a text message from a mate telling me his nipper had died. Can't listen to that song again without thinking about it.
