For every success there are a million failures. He dreamed the dream, he ate the roof. I hope he gets well, overcomes the injuries and succeeds as a Freerunner. Really, I think the people who succeed in these kind of extreme things have jumped 10ft gaps - they win, he loses for now. We don't often hear about those who try and fail.

Freerunning is a unique and bloody interesting sport.. Unfortunately it's also can be stupidly dangerous so having 13 year old kids jumping off rooftops can't be a good thing right?

Well, no. But all the successful obsessive loonies (I'm thinking of the guy who climbs the office blocks, the Eiffel tower and did the Twin Towers walk) started at a similar age. The guy I'm thinking of was locked out of 5th floor apartment as a kid and just climbed up. I'm just saying greatness starts young, but for every great achiever there are thousands who fail and sadly get their face rearranged It's just like footballers.
