Apparently 4 people fainted at the screening at Cannes on account of the very explicit violence in it....

It got a mixed reception at Cannes but Charlotte Gainsborough walked away with best actress.

I see a Harbour Lights late night on the cards....

Definitely not for the faint hearted. It is very graphic, very dark and brooding but very, very good.

This is more art house cinema; the sex scenes are graphic but not pornographic; they are more dysfunctional than erotic. The violence is graphic and extreme but again, it's not a slash horror. It is a very intense psychological thriller that some will find find very disturbing as it is very uncompromising.

You don't happen to know how many in total attended the Cannes screening? Four out of twenty, say, would make the faint/non faint ratio pretty impressive. But for all we know there could have been three hundred or more there.
