John B Posted 3 July, 2009 Share Posted 3 July, 2009 I'd say in the world of business generally, that kind of thing is pretty common. Can't see Lowe buying us though, although christ knows anything's possible now. At least these people aren't the only option. I dont think this lot are going to buy the club as they have only just got involved

Whitey Grandad Posted 3 July, 2009 Share Posted 3 July, 2009 I'm sat her virtually speechless...how can a man put a company into receivership and then come back and buy it? I think you'll find that the two are very often connected.
Mr Nice Posted 3 July, 2009 Share Posted 3 July, 2009 According to the Echo the Swiss time frame has slipped to early next week as they are awaiting third party agreements. They apparently have gone back and left the lawyers in charge. It appears the front runners are the financial company who are using Keith Harris of Seymour Pierce as an advisor. I wonder if the third party agreements are the Football League. Front runners are the Swiss

VectisSaint Posted 3 July, 2009 Share Posted 3 July, 2009 1/ Gillico Ltd start up same day as we go into administration. 2/ If its true what Dog says in earlier post, a Rupert Vincent Lowe became director on the 5th June. 3/ A company that hasn't even looked at the books is able to make a qualified valuation of the club to make a bid. Just because the middle name is different means nothing. Its far to much of a coincidence. Is there any way of checking name changes in Depol ? (Not sure how to spell depol) If thats not enough to get you worried, then what is ? There is no person who was registered at birth in England & Wales called Rupert Vincent Lowe. There is a Rupert W M Lowe who was born in 1963, don't know if the W stands for Winston unfortunately. Our own much loved R J G Lowe was of course born/created 1957. It is quite scary that there are 7 people who have been registered as Rupert Lowe in England & Wales since 1957, one poor little blighter was given the name Rupert Lowe in 2003, how sad is that, imagine growing up with that handicap. Mole Posted 3 July, 2009 Share Posted 3 July, 2009 Lowe coming back would tie in with him putting us into admin after the deadline. He'd do this to get the club cheaper. And it'd also explain Wotte hanging around. And it'd explain why the slimeball was at Forest.

emerson massey Posted 3 July, 2009 Share Posted 3 July, 2009 for what it's worth, i dont(/cant) think he will be back i guess if anyone may have the audacity to do so, then it would be him but i genuinley think we will be ok and move on and leave these awful last few years behind us If however he is in anyway involved with the eventual buyers, it will be a bit too much - just hope it doesn't come to it Em

VectisSaint Posted 3 July, 2009 Share Posted 3 July, 2009 If there where level pegging a month ago i suspect that the creditors are first off the tick list ? Not at all. It depends what the new people are offering. Pinnacle may have been offering 100% pay off (I 've no idea if they were). The new guys might be offering a lot less, 18p in the £ perhaps (this is what Luton paid their creditors). There is no reason to suppose that different bidders have different prices. RonManager Posted 3 July, 2009 Share Posted 3 July, 2009 And exactly HOW would they manage to do that ??? We would all hide behind his chair and then pick him up by his collar and administer said boot. He would fly through the window and follow an arcing tragectory in to the Itchen, never to surface again. With knowing smiles we would all then go quietly about our business and all would be serene and good.
