Fri: I went to 'The Old Thorns' country/golf club/hotel thingy in Liphook with my Mrs, two of my mates and their Mrs's. Had a few beers upon arrival then a round of golf. Only managed 9 holes which took us 3 hours and I was 58 over par after the 9 holes - Yes I am that sheet at golf! Had a nice swim after in their pool and a very nice evening meal, followed by a few drinks and a 'Know your partner game'

Sat: Lovely breakfast (Big ass fry up), drive home, watched Saints. Then over a mates in the evening for a few smokes, played mario kart online and pro evo.

Sun: Chilled out, got up late morning, watched some poor footy games (Chelski Vs Newcasle & Liverpool Vs Villa) played a little more Mario Kart and watched Indianna Jones film.

All in all a good weekend - 9/10

Sat - Hungover, had a bbq, went to town paid a tenner to get in the worst club ever (junk)

Rip off isn't it... was going to go, but saw it was a bit of a sausage fest and then heard it was £10 to get in, so went to OC for free instead.

Glad im not the only one who thinks Junk is Spunk. Been there once, not many fitties and not my kind of music.

Friday - Sparred with a Thai Boxer, he got quite feisty and got quite annoyed with my jab. Then went to a mates for some Poker action.

Saturday - Football, town and home reasonably early 'cos...

Sunday - Nike 10k run thing. Mate signed us up the Monday prior, so no training at all, but we were there and I did it in 51 minutes. I then played for my mates team in the afternoon and scored 5, but I think the oppo were wheelchair people who weren't in their wheelchairs. Then went to the pub for dinner and went to see Step Brothers at the cinema.

7/10 - Got a load of free stuff from the Nike run, which was good times.

Ocean Gym? And was it me?

Coe to think of it I didn't face too many jab issues on Friday....that i can remember.

No, I have never heard of Ocean Gym. It was an interesting experience, as i've never come against that style before.

I used 1 of my posts today to tell you this, cherish it.

Ocean Gym. Middle of Southampton; basically next door to FYEO.

Predominantly a Muay Thai gym, but also does boxing and MMA classes. Fully equipped with padded floor, boxing ring etc. Run by Sean Toomey, one the most highly rated Thai coaches in the UK.

Sessions have a good mixture of very good Thai fighters (English champions), some excellent MMA guys, and a load of dedicated beginners. The gym is the 'real deal' seriously high quality (and physically demanding) training.

If you have any interest in training/sparring, and are anywhere near Southampton, it is well worth a visit.

Since it wasn't you who gave me my black eye, I'll cherish your post!
