What a star that lad is. His interview was excellent and the constant use of 'we' shows he will never lose his affinity for Saints.

 

Came across as a level headed guy who's sad to leave but why would he turn down a Prem club to possibly play in League 1?

 

I wish him every success and cannot understand the abuse he has received on here....obviously many on here are a better judge of a player than a Prem League team/scouts!

Agree. He heads a long list of players who are criticised as 'not good enough' here and yet somehow mysteriously end up playing in the prem whilst we languish in Lg1.

Saw him on SSN yesterday and he used we a couple of times and had to correct himself, gair play to him it was oblivious he still has affection for the club and hates the current position. Once a Saint always a Saint
