Yup, he stated at the end of the season he wanted to stay and play for us whatever league we're in.

Also with Wottes more permanent appointment - it seems very likely that he will be returning...All we need is the takeover to be done.

 

He’ll probably be the first singing – a huge coup for league 1 IMO.

JPS supplied me with just about the only good memory from last season with that scorcher at Watford.

 

Would be delighted if we could sign him.

Anyone know if he is still with us? Any sightings at training?

 

I quizzed Mr Wotte about this a few weeks back and the possibility of him returning. JPS is in Holland because they had a play off situation (they have play offs for relegation in Holland) and he'd gone back to be part of this at the club he was loaned from.

 

I thought he was of use to us so had to ask and Mark stated how JPS had liked it here and would possibly return. Nothing clear as of yet, understandably with our situation. But, he certainly hadn't ruled it out. Knowing our timescales, every player will have moved on by the time (IF) anything happens to our club. *sighs* (no pun intended)

Not thread related but...... Jon Bon Jovi waited for 3 hours to come on and duet with Springsteen on Hungry Heart at Hyde Park last sunday. But The Boss overran and the SMS regular never got to go on. :D:D:D

He could be relegated twice in a few months - maybe we should cool our interest as the guy is possibly cursed?

 

Does seem strange that he arrives and;

 

A) We then go into admin

B) Get relegated

C) Deducted 10 points

D) Can't find a serious buyer

 

 

 

Be interesting to see that now he has gone (temporarily) whether things will pick up for us – or does his ‘curse’ remain?

 

We will see……

I think there are a couple more people responsbile for running us into the ground, let's not mention names. Not so much a curse on their part, more a case of not having the faintest idea on how to run a football club and knowing next to f*ck all about football. That can't have helped!

don't think we will get the points back now - damage has already been done.

 

point is we can avoid more 'issues' by keeping him away from SMS.

 

Maybe we could get Pompey to sign him?

Pompey already have a player with vast relegation experience. Hermann Hreidarsson has been relegated with Palace, Wimbledon and Ipswich and has just signed an extension. With their takeover still to happen despite due diligence starting in May (sound familiar ?) and a heap of players having left, it may well be that he joins Nigel Quashie and Ashley Ward with 4 relegations.

just because Hreidarsson has been relegated a few times doesnt mean he is 'cursed' like JPS. we have proven (beyond doubt) that JPS is cursed! :smt118
