Vietnamese fishy on my dishy tonight!

I bought a frozen fish the other day from Sainsbury's called a 'Bassa'.

 

Thought it looked ok. Just popped it in the oven and read the back of the box and it appears it was caught in waters off Vietnam.

 

All I can say is it had better taste bloody good to make up for the **stonking** carbon footprint of shipping a frozen fish half way round the world.

 

In case anyone was wondering what potatoe based product I shall be munching on too, it will be the humble Newbie tonight. With peas. Yum.

Tesco do a Vietnamese breaded fish as well.

yup. just finished it. average. not bad, but not great.

Was also persuaded to try some wild alaskan salmon from the Sainsbury fresh fish counter.

 

Not as good as the farmed stff imo
