Red And White Barmy Army Posted 1 July, 2009 Posted 1 July, 2009 good to see they've found a use for the stadium now. will their studio be where the changing rooms used to be?
Give it to Ron Posted 1 July, 2009 Author Posted 1 July, 2009 Great will Mark Dennis be returning. Have asked the question Jan.
saintwarwick Posted 1 July, 2009 Posted 1 July, 2009 Are back broadcasting from SMS on Saturday 4th from 10am. Any news on the team returning to SMS?
1976_Child Posted 1 July, 2009 Posted 1 July, 2009 Any news on the team returning to SMS? any news on any of us fans ever returning to St Mary's?
S-Clarke Posted 1 July, 2009 Posted 1 July, 2009 It'll be interesting to see what the format will be. I've listened to their online offerings for a while now - and they're very good...
Gordon Mockles Posted 1 July, 2009 Posted 1 July, 2009 Any news on the team returning to SMS? any news on any of us fans ever returning to St Mary's? LMAO - This ridiculous embargo will have certainly have washed some fans away...for good. You can't blame people. As fans, we've been knocked down, got back up, knocked down, got back up, knocked down...and down...........and DOWN! (More times than I like to admit). Ludicrous. But we are great fans. Truly resiliant. Sometimes I wonder why. Are back broadcasting from SMS on Saturday 4th from 10am. GOOD NEWS! I like Radio Hants - music lame but there aren't any decent radio stations anymore. Local or otherwise. Least they've Saints news and they give the Skates abuse. Radio 1, 2,etc. sh*te mornings & afternoon. Solent is soooo tedious but their tips and features makes me laugh purely because they're so unbelievably rubbish!! ("today we'll be asking callers to phone in if you ever had an eraser that smelled of fruit at school...what flavour was your rubber?" Errrr, it was clear, stretchy, bobbled and smelt of strawberries! LOL)

bigtonesfc Posted 2 July, 2009 Posted 2 July, 2009 Can they broadcast from the pitch every other saturday afternoon so we`ve got something too watch?
The9 Posted 2 July, 2009 Posted 2 July, 2009 It was broadcasting this morning, came up on the Sat Nav as "Play", and I heard Living On A Prayer by Bon Jovi. How apt.
OldNick Posted 2 July, 2009 Posted 2 July, 2009 well Pompey allegedly are negotiating to buy into Quay radio and so they see sense in filling the local airwaves with their stuff.

Broke Posted 2 July, 2009 Posted 2 July, 2009 No Mark or Stuart by the look of it! Or even any footie.... I thought that Mark and Stuart were only on during the footy season. If I remember in their last show they said they'll be back in August.
Saint_clark Posted 2 July, 2009 Posted 2 July, 2009 good to see they've found a use for the stadium now. will their studio be where the changing rooms used to be? It was always broadcast from the stadium.
Give it to Ron Posted 2 July, 2009 Author Posted 2 July, 2009 I thought that Mark and Stuart were only on during the footy season. If I remember in their last show they said they'll be back in August. Stuart broadcast every day and had his own show.
Saints Mad Si Posted 2 July, 2009 Posted 2 July, 2009 I thought that Mark and Stuart were only on during the footy season. If I remember in their last show they said they'll be back in August. They didnt realise it was going up the wall then! But it would be good to get them back, possibly a bit earlier.
SaintRobbie Posted 2 July, 2009 Posted 2 July, 2009 Cool! Bet no other League 1 sides have a radio station!
Red And White Barmy Army Posted 2 July, 2009 Posted 2 July, 2009 It was always broadcast from the stadium. obviously. im sure they found a use for the room since tho.

Third Division South Days Posted 6 July, 2009 Posted 6 July, 2009 Sure I heard Will Cope doing the news this morning. Anyone know what coverage they intend for the Saints this season?
Saint_clark Posted 6 July, 2009 Posted 6 July, 2009 obviously. im sure they found a use for the room since tho. What else could you use a studio for? It probably just remained locked.
Sheff Saint Posted 6 July, 2009 Posted 6 July, 2009 Think they've missed a trick and not bought the naming rights to Ocean or Power. It's a real shame that some of the better 'local' things can just disappear so easily. Let's hope the same can't be said of the football club!
Scummer Posted 6 July, 2009 Posted 6 July, 2009 Think they've missed a trick and not bought the naming rights to Ocean or Power. They wouldn't have been for sale.
Mr Nice Posted 6 July, 2009 Posted 6 July, 2009 Unlikely they will get involved in match day commentary at the moment. I think they want to get some revenue in before expanding.
Nolan Posted 6 July, 2009 Posted 6 July, 2009 Unlikely they will get involved in match day commentary at the moment. I think they want to get some revenue in before expanding. surely, being based in the stadium, it'd be crazy not too...
