oh ok, is he linked to the Red Bull supposed bid?

their first sports purchase was Red Bull Salz-burg....

No.

He is a businessman that supports Saints.

He is rumoured to have a consortium, who will buy SFC if all else fails.

He would rather someone else buy the club as he readily admits his consortium does not have much money, but will spend what they have to keep SFC alive.

Salz - Have heard his name on here quite alot recently and sorry for being dumb, but who the hell is he? I've never heard of him

He was Arthur English's body double in Are You Being Served.

Like most of us a top Saints supporter.

Has a fair chunk of money but not enough to buy us on his own.

Would make a good Chairman...Financial nous.

Many top associates in the City and elsewere. Associated/big part of Rothchilds.

Worked very hard to pull wealthy peeps together...Hence there MIGHT be HOPE from this angle.

My view is that if he and a group of associates went for it....they would not come under the category of tyre kickers...But value for money and financial prudence in clearing the way for the future....Not always those with the most know how to use it..so they so.

Is he really able TO PULL THIS TOGETHER..i DON'T KNOW...WOULD NOT BE SURPRISED IF HE WAS IN THERE SOMEHERE PULLING RABBITS OUT THE HAT...At least the catering would be different.

I would even forgive him for being a Lawyer...There are some good uns.

And wasn't that Wilbur Ross (mentioned in the Swiss thread) also a Rothschilds old boy?

Probably just a six degrees of seperation thing?

A man who I work for states he IS A VERY TOP MAN AND YOU WOULD DO WELL TO HAVE HIM ON BOARD....I truly believe that statement and everything I have heard from this respected boss points to Salz being here or here abouts in Saints future.

COYRs..HOPE and more HOPE...More prayers required fellow posters.

Right now i think all of us just want a club to support.

If the other bids fail and Saltz comes in, then he would be our saviour regardless of how little money his consortium have and as already mentioned he would be a huge asset to have on the board or running the club.

Love this quote:

"This meant there was an "over-emphasis" on short-term financial performance, reinforced by a bonus and pay culture that rewarded money-making over serving the interests of customers and clients."

That would presumably have included financially-prudent clients and customers who were reducing their overdrafts in agreement with said bank?

At the very least Anthony would have made sure that we survived as a club, but I must admit that I was so relieved as indeed I’m sure Anthony and all his potential backers were when the Liebherr juggernaut chose to drive into town.

Kindest Regards
