Greenridge Posted 30 June, 2009 Posted 30 June, 2009 According to the Echo he had a medical yesterday so sounds authentic.
lee_saint Posted 30 June, 2009 Author Posted 30 June, 2009 Well, they are stating he's having a medical at the club.
scottzoo Posted 30 June, 2009 Posted 30 June, 2009 Solent today said they have spoken to him and he confirmed he had a medical
OldNick Posted 30 June, 2009 Posted 30 June, 2009 he deserves to have a good pay day and a last chance to play in the PL, might even make the WC squad Lol
Evo Posted 30 June, 2009 Posted 30 June, 2009 he deserves to have a good pay day and a last chance to play in the PL, might even make the WC squad Lol I'd pick him over Calamity James any day!!
saintjay77 Posted 30 June, 2009 Posted 30 June, 2009 SSN just said he is currntly having a medical at West Ham so looks like he is gone. Thanks KD
smithy Posted 30 June, 2009 Posted 30 June, 2009 That's 2 in 2 for the currant Bun then, on their current form that means Surman will sign for Wolves tomorrow for 1.5m.
Mase Posted 1 July, 2009 Posted 1 July, 2009 Ahhh crapola… I wonder if he would have stayed had a deal gone through earlier…
Andy_Porter Posted 1 July, 2009 Posted 1 July, 2009 Ahhh crapola… I wonder if he would have stayed had a deal gone through earlier… I doubt many players would turn down West Ham to play for us.
lee_saint Posted 1 July, 2009 Author Posted 1 July, 2009 He's still living in the Southampton area, West Ham is close enough for him.
batterseasaint Posted 1 July, 2009 Posted 1 July, 2009 Very sad. One of the few players that I can properly identify with, and one that would have stayed (even in L1) if we'd sorted our **** out early enough.
OldNick Posted 3 July, 2009 Posted 3 July, 2009 I saw this morning on Sky them reporting he was off to WHU It did make me chuckle though when they showed him training and the ball went right under him.
Greenridge Posted 3 July, 2009 Posted 3 July, 2009 Shame to see him go but it's one position we're not short of numbers on with Bart, Forecast and Poke
Pilchards Posted 3 July, 2009 Posted 3 July, 2009 I saw this morning on Sky them reporting he was off to WHU It did make me chuckle though when they showed him training and the ball went right under him. Everytime Wotte hopes for something I will think the opposite. Fancy him believing Davis would stay. Who else did Wotte say was staying yesterday?
saintwarwick Posted 3 July, 2009 Posted 3 July, 2009 Shame to see him go but it's one position we're not short of numbers on with Bart, Forecast and Poke As long as they all play at the same time otherwise we are fooked.
david in sweden Posted 3 July, 2009 Posted 3 July, 2009 he deserves to have a good pay day and a last chance to play in the PL, might even make the WC squad Lol you're right nickh, it doesn't sound as funny as it did at first reading...who knows.. (I'd certainly take him over DJ any time).
saintwarwick Posted 3 July, 2009 Posted 3 July, 2009 Everytime Wotte hopes for something I will think the opposite. Fancy him believing Davis would stay. Who else did Wotte say was staying yesterday? Pinnacle.
saintwarwick Posted 3 July, 2009 Posted 3 July, 2009 It's a no brainer really, a player is offered a contract in the premiership or league one, who would you choose?
Greenridge Posted 3 July, 2009 Posted 3 July, 2009 As long as they all play at the same time otherwise we are fooked. Probably true. What is worrying is the quote that we only have 21 squad players...and 3 of them (maybe 4 if KD was included in those stats) are keepers
Ash Posted 3 July, 2009 Posted 3 July, 2009 The Sun reports it is going to be completed monday morning, reading the comments on there the West Ham fans are not too happy with this signing, one even saying they don't want him because he has just been relegated (like Michael Owen). Let's hope Kelvin needs love and sticks around.
saintwarwick Posted 3 July, 2009 Posted 3 July, 2009 Probably true. What is worrying is the quote that we only have 21 squad players...and 3 of them (maybe 4 if KD was included in those stats) are keepers Even more worrying is how many players will we have at the start of the season?
Northam Girls Posted 3 July, 2009 Posted 3 July, 2009 Very sad. One of the few players that I can properly identify with, and one that would have stayed (even in L1) if we'd sorted our **** out early enough. Totally agree - Kelvin would have stayed if they sorted themselves out - very very sad news if he goes :-(
