diggers Posted 29 June, 2009 Posted 29 June, 2009 I have watched with amazement the "Lads **** up to Weymouth" thread and this has led me to ponder the question.... What category of fan posts on the board most? I mean by this are you; 1/ Never been in trouble at football or elsewhere and deplore all things rough and loutish. 2/ Like a good old sing song and stand up at away's but think violence is stupid and keep away from it at all costs. 3/ Retired hoolie from the 70's 80's now watch the yoof with a knowing "in my day" attitude. 4/ Like to get ****ed before during and after and when inebriated sometimes get carried away (if you get the drift!) 5/ Member of the new Ultra Saints Yoof firm and fully paid up Stone Island model. If anyone admits to 5 I'll be amazed. There was such a cross section of opinion on the Weymouth trip I think it would make an interesting side show from all the take over dribble thats just going over and over old ground to see just what the typical Saints Web poster is? Poll would be good if there is the interest. Me, before you ask, well I really should say 1 or 2, but in all honesty, after a few before the game I'm probably between a 2 and 3.

SFC Forever Posted 29 June, 2009 Posted 29 June, 2009 Do we really need a thread about how diverse or not our fans are?
Amesbury Saint Posted 29 June, 2009 Posted 29 June, 2009 Do we really need a thread about how diverse or not our fans are? value the difference!
SFC Forever Posted 29 June, 2009 Posted 29 June, 2009 Forgot to say our family is all 2. Not many away games though
bigdavewatson Posted 29 June, 2009 Posted 29 June, 2009 I'm generally a 2, but the odd 4 in my time :-)
diggers Posted 29 June, 2009 Author Posted 29 June, 2009 Do we really need a thread about how diverse or not our fans are? So I'll put you down as a definite 1, (actually, a right one!) If this was an anonymous poll I wonder if the replies might be slightly less candid!
The Godfather Posted 29 June, 2009 Posted 29 June, 2009 Lots of people like to wear the casual gear but doesn't make them a hoolie. You can get just as much aggro from a beered up fan who wears colours.
J Bizzle Posted 29 June, 2009 Posted 29 June, 2009 2/3/4 and stone island is not for the young uns! Still a **** designer though!
pilsburydoughboy Posted 29 June, 2009 Posted 29 June, 2009 4... Thats if the mad staring doesn't start too early after the double dark rum
Whitey Grandad Posted 29 June, 2009 Posted 29 June, 2009 I'm generally 1.2 but if Mike Riley's refereeing I can display violent tendencies.
docker-p Posted 29 June, 2009 Posted 29 June, 2009 Thats if the mad staring doesn't start too early after the double dark rum Chances are I'd be asleep before it kicked off anyway.
speculator Posted 29 June, 2009 Posted 29 June, 2009 2 but sometimes 4/5 (minus the p155ed and Ultra bit) if antagonised by a 4/5.
bigtonesfc Posted 29 June, 2009 Posted 29 June, 2009 (edited) Afraid i`m heading towards 5!..least im honest! maybe i lied and its a 4,worth a try!! Edited 29 June, 2009 by bigtonesfc
offix Posted 29 June, 2009 Posted 29 June, 2009 Not been at SMS for a while, but when I was living in Hants, definitely a 1-2
Evo Posted 29 June, 2009 Posted 29 June, 2009 1.9 Only had one decent scrap in my life and that was 14 years ago and involved a pikey so doesn't count. I couldn't really care what other fans get up to - that's their business surely? AND I can't believe anybody would voluntarily watch Saints sober? I know I wouldn't (not the last couple of years anyway). It's like one of my mates says, watching Saints interrupts a pleasant afternoon's drinking
Saint_clark Posted 29 June, 2009 Posted 29 June, 2009 I think the majority of people are either 2 or 4, to be honest. I'm 2 by the way.
lordswoodsaints Posted 30 June, 2009 Posted 30 June, 2009 I'll have to admit to 3 and the stone island bit of 5.
