Glasgow_Saint Posted 26 June, 2009 Posted 26 June, 2009 How about this then You want to buy an asset cheap. You realise the adminisrator has little time as it is a football club and the season is due to start. You want to get rid of the competition and so you put up a fall guy to get a exclusivity period and so eat up loads of time. The money paid to get it will be earned back many folds, at the same time the state of the company is seen. You come out of that time and stall for more, this then eats up even more time until it gets to the stage that the administrator takes a massive knock on the price.A valuable asset bought at a snip and the customer base is happy as it looks as though it was to be gone, they are even stupid/desperate enough to stomach a massive point penalty as well, mugs. All fiction and far from the truth as there is no way the people involved would countenance it but if it were pompey!! Could be.....

The one about Pinnacle being a Trojan Horse for the Swiss bid....
slickmick Posted 26 June, 2009 Posted 26 June, 2009 I am quite impressed by Fry, IMO he has done his best I'm not impressed. Within 10 minutes of Fialka being known on here he has been exposed as a nobody. That should have been Fry's job.
OldNick Posted 26 June, 2009 Posted 26 June, 2009 Hey, stop stealing the conspiracy theories that I've already posted! The one about Pinnacle being a Trojan Horse for the Swiss bid.... what time did you post yours then trousers. May i say for the Swiss to be behind it they would have to have someone in it who lent the money for a deposit to the fall guys.
70's Mike Posted 26 June, 2009 Posted 26 June, 2009 problem is now any new bidder has to absorb the extra costs Fry HAS , even though they are down to his own incomptence. he will be a living legend on the administrator circuit
OldNick Posted 26 June, 2009 Posted 26 June, 2009 problem is now any new bidder has to absorb the extra costs Fry HAS , even though they are down to his own incomptence. he will be a living legend on the administrator circuitExactly the coffers will be squeezed to right to the last second, and the moment there seens that the meter is full it will be goodnight Saints thanks for the Bentleys...I mean the memories. From my standpoint Fry has/is having an easy ride.Im not sure what could be done to make it harder for him though
CB Saint Posted 26 June, 2009 Posted 26 June, 2009 I wonder how much grief Fry would have got if he had, as many people want, sacked off Pinnacle a couple of weeks ago only for no other bidder to come forward. I wonder how many people would be saying he should have given them longer?

70's Mike Posted 26 June, 2009 Posted 26 June, 2009 Are photocopiers legal tender? :S 3 to the fax , is latest exchange rate
Crab Lungs Posted 26 June, 2009 Posted 26 June, 2009 3 to the fax ' date=' is latest exchange rate[/quote'] Ah shucks, Jacko's got me by the balls with my Epson all-in-one's :-(
gordonToo Posted 26 June, 2009 Posted 26 June, 2009 not relevant the man is paid to do a job and he has been led my the nose, he needs to explain, but he will not, what evidence he saw to make him give exclusivity to Pinnacle. i work in corporate recovery and am astounded it has gone on this long Pure suppostion on my part but once the original Swiss interest became known Fry may have given his previously preferred bid 24 hours to come up with the deposit or else and, if previous rumours are to be believed, Pinnacle then had to rely on Leon Crouch to provide much of the requirement.
WealdSaint Posted 26 June, 2009 Posted 26 June, 2009 Fry seems to have changed his tune in a few days............his earlier statement was very damning of the FL. Now he's on the "O s*** I better sell this quickly" path.

gordonToo Posted 26 June, 2009 Posted 26 June, 2009 been found out .. or unrest in the camp. Certainly if I was a player I'd be actively looking at my options.
