Yes, Tony, isn't is just, a number of hard working loyal staff finding out they cannot pay the mortgage next month, something that you obviously have no concept of still living with Mumsie well into your thirties... The one thing that was shouting at me from the tv screen was what we have here is a 5th rate (very) poor man's Simon Jordan wannabee.... I am certain that Lying and Mummy's Boy didn't pay a penny towards the exclusivity fee and that it was made up of the Dyer cash, money from Crouch and maybe, as some on here have stated, money from MLT. Roping a Saints legend into this farce only goes to make things even worse. I haven't had a lot of time for Crouch in the past but he has proved his mettle by doing the one thing that the other so called rich Saints fans have singularly failed to do, put his hand in his pocket and pull out some cash. IMHO, the likes of Salz and Davies are also cupable in this whole mess as they have more than enough money to do something about the situation but, while claiming to be Saints fan, are happy to stay on the sidelines and watch the club die. In fact MLT said that he was a close business associciate of Tony.. But Tony Lynham is now saying the man approached him???????????????????????The fact that he approached him must mean that he knew him or had worked with him previously.....so what is the problem? Why some people are so keen to cast aspersions by nit-picking is starting to get on my tits. Hopefully whoever is trying to buy this club will look on the group of people on this forum as nothing more important than a pub full of "self-righteous brothers" ala Harry Enfield and Co.....and yes I include myself in that. The fact that the club and many of its fans seemed to have learnt nothing from whole Chancer Wilde 'error' and are more than happy to be led down the garden path and bent over by the next fantasist to show an interest in the club speaks volumes. Pinnacle need to feck off now and leave us with some small hope that the Swiss can do the deal or if not, god help us, the Jackson consortium. Hell, if we are to be taken over by a loony fantasist with a Walter Mitty complex then I would prefer it is Jackson as at least he is our Walter Mitty Fantasist and not some Spurs supporting spiv. If you go back 2 months when this group started to talk and tell us what they planned to do very few if any were against it. Everyone was in joy and assumed it would be a couple of weeks and it would all be done. We get the updates from people such as Tony and Matt about how it is going along nice, we all appreciate that they took the time to inform us. They then pay the exclusivity money, or if rumour is to be believed then leon Crouch paid it because it would pay the wages to staff etc. We then get the rumours which still have not been denied that Keegan would be manager and Matt would be chairman. People such as Tony then say it is all about to be concluded. Two weeks later as the exclusivity period is about to end all of a sudden it hits a brick wall because apparently we have got a minus 10 deduction for next season.....We are told not to worry we will sort it out in a day or so. That day comes and goes and we hear the same thing daily about being patient and was a matter of hours before it would be sorted. A week passes by and we find out the main man who we we're told "has a vast substantial wealth running into hundreds of millions of pounds" turns out to be a guy living at home with his mum and is on something like 50k a year working for a property company. Then to cap it off today we are told or lead to believe the deal will be concluded today and we can all start the party! But the guy who is in charge by the courts to get a deal done thinks the group are unnecessarily stalling and the minus 10 argument is not valid enough to keep giving them priority. etc etc Now lets get one thing straight here, the fans of thic club have suffered a lot over the past 5 years. We have gone from seeing a brand new stadium which hosed an England game, to being in a cup final and europe to plunging into the depths of hell. We have falled two leagues and find ourself a club ruined by total mismanagement from people only interested in themselves and their own gains. People who promised a lot but delievered the total opposite. We have seen these people before, these people have all but destroyed the club. So is it not understandable and acceptable that after the things we have been through, the amount of times people have tricked us over the years that the people who matter i.e the fans actually step on the side of caution? Pinnacle are the people who need to proove their loyalty to the cause not the fans. As of yet they have not put a penny in and it looks as though they never will. If the deal falls through wil you still believe what you believe? They need to put up or shut up and right now they have not put up nor shut up. The fact that the club and many of its fans seemed to have learnt nothing from whole Chancer Wilde 'error' and are more than happy to be led down the garden path and bent over by the next fantasist to show an interest in the club speaks volumes. Pinnacle need to feck off now and leave us with some small hope that the Swiss can do the deal or if not, god help us, the Jackson consortium. Hell, if we are to be taken over by a loony fantasist with a Walter Mitty complex then I would prefer it is Jackson as at least he is our Walter Mitty Fantasist and not some Spurs supporting spiv. You really must be pompey scum in my opinion. You also have no grasp on whats going on. The situation as i understand it. Pinnacle - have gone a long way down the road to buying the club. Now no longer have exclusivity but are contunueing to look to buy the club. Forgive me if i am wrong but that is surely a good thing Swiss Consortium - Looking to get into an exclusivity agreement next week, which blocks any bid from Pinnacle for 3 weeks. We have to wait 3 weeks for due diligence etc to be done and they OR Pinnacle will buy the club or both walk away. 3rd Party. Whoever that may be really isnt in with a shout because after another 3 weeks of exclusivity IE Not being able to talk to the administrator or look at clubs books it will be too late to buy the club anyway and SFC will probably have gone under. So asking Pinnacle to walk away is a bit like being at sea and your ship is sinking, you have 6 hours before the ship sinks, a dodgy looking steamer pulls up and says they may have room for you. You say no thanks theres a posh looking speed boat 6 hours sailing away I will wait for that. I dont see why you cant live with Pinnacle being involved and hope they pull something out of the hat, while also hoping the swiss swoop in and do a deal double quick. Why just be so awfull to a group of people POSSIBLY looking to save SFC. I see nothing to gain except bringing attention to yourself and dragging SFC through the mud again. Fry has stated in his statment on the Official Saints Website http://www.saintsfc.co.uk that there will be no further exclusivity. The contract is there for who ever wants to bid on it. 3rd Party. Marc Jackson you mean? He was the 1st to show interest and has been in many more talkls than the Swiss. He is more likly to not get anywhere due to money than the non exclusivity agreement you are so adament on. As far as I can tell Pinnacle are still in pole position but they will know that if they delay much longer they might be overtaken by the Swiss. To all these guys it's a business decision and they aren't going to invest unless they are perfectly happy with what they have invested in. Who knows, maybe their game plan all along was to procrastinate and take this right to the wire in order to screw every penny out of Jackson that they can ..... wouldn't be too far fetched as their optimum outcome is to pay exactly what the assets are worth and no more. We have a legend in MLT who has ALWAYS had the good of the club at heart, who has stepped up to the line and is prepared to put his good name and reputation behind this bid. Do some of you really believe that he would risk that good name and reputation on some far fetched bid from a "tyre kicker" and a "mummies boy"? For f**ks sake have some patience people and stop the wild conspiracy theories and hype which are now becoming common place here on these pages. If it's going to happen, it will. NOTHING anyone of us does can affect that. Tony's message stated that he was going to do something about the wage situation and try to ensure the staff are paid. Give the bloke a chance! Going through this is gut wrenching so anyone co(king about and wasting time should be up for some kind of punishment.
