saint_mears Posted 25 June, 2009 Share Posted 25 June, 2009 I think most fans bubble burst last Friday. Any takeover will be greeted with little celebration and more 'get on with it'.

Thedelldays Posted 25 June, 2009 Share Posted 25 June, 2009 I remember predicting we would be the first "big" club to bite the dust... sadly, I may well be right..

WATERSIDEIFASAINT Posted 25 June, 2009 Share Posted 25 June, 2009 Frustrated and deflated but praying tomorrow will finally be the day.If not I fear the club is totally screwed!! Has the middle eastern businessman got serious money or is it a skate disguised as a sheik destroying our club(like the fake sheik in the News of the World)That would sum it all up!!! saint_stevo Posted 25 June, 2009 Share Posted 25 June, 2009 ah a member of the posse if its not done by end of play tomorrow, i am going to implode. found out today i failed a CISCO exam. the course was spent F5'ing this and the echo pages. So the takeover has already cost me 90 quid. And TL talks of costs and expenses

Badger Posted 25 June, 2009 Share Posted 25 June, 2009 Thoroughly knobbed off with it all to be honest. Ten years ago we were a top fight club who were respecteed for punching above our weight.Six years ago things looked up after a cup final and decent stadium.2004 onwards the b^stard Lowe sent us into freefall, and with the asistance of Wilde-and to a lesser extent Crouch - we have been spiralling downwards since. A week ago we had the hope of KK;now we fear for the club's existance.A week of Tony's updates but no progress. We speculated on the buyer and now he is in the open he cannot even promise the safety of the clubs future. Part of me wants to say "B0LL0CKS,I've spent enough on this over the last 40years,time to let go".But my kids want and deserve to follow a club like SFC and all that it once stood for. I have hoiped Pinnacle would be the answer, but tonight feel that behind the masquerade they are unlikely to be. Time for the Swiss perhaps, or maybe time for me to follow my village team locally.League football has a bitter and sickening taste.
Rocker268 Posted 25 June, 2009 Share Posted 25 June, 2009 For those who have access to Sky Sports News and have not yet seen the interview it is on just past the hour and I would recommend watching it, because it has helped to calm my nerves. As I have said before I would rather follow Saints struggling, but earning their place than being an arab or russian billionaires plaything who only wants success to show off to their friends. I am still trying to remain positive, but with everything dragging on I am starting to lose hope and will soon pass the point of caring, hopefully everything will be done tomorrow and a new manager can be brought in, that may still be KK, which will cause a resurge of optomisim and once we can concentrate on the football again without backroom politics hanging over us we will enjoy it again and be able to get fully behind the team!
