Also I wouldn't worry too much about what google has to say, try searching for Brian Caudwell and see what you get, and I know for a fact he has a personal fortune of well over a billion pounds!!!

Not everyone publishes everything they do.

Thank heavens those Phones 4 U adverts aren't on any more, they did my nut in!

from Tony Lynam's Latest post

I believe in being upfront and open, and this is why I have made it my business to keep everyone from all walks up to date, and I will continue to do so until we close the deal, and beyond. With this in mind, I have asked one of the gentlemen who is putting their hand in their pocket to put his name out in public, and I expect this will happen shortly.

seems it's no longer a sole buyer....

Intresting that he stated a new manager will be appointed, therefore bye bye Wotte

This is why the whole thing is a sham.

This is the same Wotte who has no idea really where his future stands - and has to somehow train Southampton player's every day.

I question the sense of announcing this on TV, when the deal is not even completed.

This guy has obviously impressed MLT enough to back his bid. I don't believe Matt would put his backing behind a bid unless he thought it was in the best interest of the club. I am not worried about the guy just how long it's all taking!!!

thought he came across pretty well on sky.

money to spend, new manager, MLT totally in charge of football matters - what do people want they would of dreamt of that last year!

seemed confident that it will complete - maybe in matter of hours.

Can see absolutely nothing to criticise him about - unless this proves not to be true, but no evidence of that yet

One client can be a group of people...

SFC is one client but more than one person, MiFi , is not a household name, perhaps one of the other 'gentlemen' is?

TL stated in an early letter to the echo that 3 people were interested, 2 dropped out and one person remained. This rules out a consortium?

I thought he came across well too, totally. Looked very enthusiastic and passionate - which is what we want.

But we've all heard the talk. Hell, we were told ''within 48hours'' 1 week ago, and I’m sure meridian or even south today were told last night by a 'Source' close to the deal that it would be done within 'hours'.

Talk is cheap...and easy.

Have to say he came across OK to me but as they say talk is cheap, I'm still not convinced they will pull this off. I guess tomorrow will be yet another D-Day for us.

I suppose I'm clinging to the MLT factor in this, in that if he believes in it then there has to be some substance in it. please let it be over by this time tomorrow.

Absolutely spot on. Matt loves this club more than most posters on here. He is a very shrewd and articulate person and would never get involved if he didn't think this was going to put Saints back on the road to success again.COYR

Is he British? Foreign? No mention whatsoever on the Times Rich List, so does he really hav the reported "hundreds of millions"???

Let's hope he is the real deal, but at the moment I am reserving judgement at present. Shame it's not Tabor or the Ineos guy, but this is Saints, so disappointments come fast and easy...

exactly, his actual words were exactly - "I have in fact now entered into this "exclusivity agreement" on behalf of ONE client only. And myself, Matt and others involved are very pleased with that. Gone are the days of petty squabbles. Our one client has SUBSTANTIAL wealth - several hundred million"

hmmm, seems all was maybe not what he said, or perhaps things have changed since this original 'message to the fans'

Please Mr Lynham as you seem keen to update us, would you mind confirming if the money man put forward today is the same one client with substantail wealth you mentioned previously. I am starting to get unsettled by the difference between presentation and reality that seems to be occurring. I do not mean to sound cynical because i want to believe that you are our saviour, so would be interested in your response.

Sometimes people can't win. Lynam brings out his backer as called for by everyone and he is written off in hours.

'Sometimes'.....but If he'd have wheeled out someone on the Sunday Times Rich List I'd venture that he would have been a labelled 'winner'

he needs at least £10m for what he has done so far.

That's more than the last regime showed.

If he invested £5.50 from his current account he will overtake all of the previous board members whilst they were in power

Bloody hell, Fialka might not even bother if he see's the crap dished out to him on here.

Its been mentioned on here that the Swiss group are looking at several clubs and not just saints, so in effect you could be slating the guy, and possibly the one and only guy who could be the difference between us going out of existence or survival.

Expectation grow as time went on about this rich backer, a shame they have taken so long to not quite get the deal done as the tide seems to be turning (unfortunately) because of not meeting those expectations.

Maybe the expectations could have been managed better by more transparancy from the off?

Not criticising, just observation.

come someone answer me this?

Right is michael Fialka a director of NW8 holdings ltd or not?

or is it NW8 Ltd, which apparently is a different company altogether?!?!

how did the NW8 Holdings Ltd company come to light in the first place on here, as ive just very quickly googled it, and find no reference to M. Fialka:confused:

Just watched him on SSN...

Doesn't suprise me that the idiots on here are slating him and Pinnacle to the extent they are. Reality check needed, it was never going to be Richard ****ing Branson. I was quite impressed with what he said, he came across fine and seems confident. Obviously, the big question is now whether they can turn these words into actions and complete the deal.

But from what I saw, I would be more than happy with him providing the funding for Matt and a decent manager in order to get us back somewhere near to where we belong.
