Red And White Barmy Army Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 Really excitied now tbh. Spoke well and looks like he's leaving the business to the buisnees ppl and the football to the football ppl (MLT) even tho he said he 'wasn't at liberty' to say who would make the final decision over the new manager. The public exposure on SSN puts pressure on the FL but I am concerned that he hasn't let go of the 10 points and his attention seemed on that more than the CVA even tho it is my impression that the CVA is the sticking point. Very confident he has the money. Plenty of people have off-shore accounts and he has links to big money companies according to a couple of ppl on here. Will be done on Monday/Tuesday IMO cos I just don't believe the FL are getting there arses in gear. 100% it is only 1 person altho SSN seem to be getting alot of the technicalities wrong in the info they're giving out about us. Also hinted that he knew for definate who the new manager will be - I would suggest that means that compensation doesn't need to be paid if he's that sure and given that clubs wouldn't speak to 'prospective' new owners until they were sitting in the boardroom. Points towards KK IMO. Millwall in a few weeks. COYR!!!
Evo Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 come someone answer me this? Right is michael Fialka a director of NW8 holdings ltd or not? or is it NW8 Ltd, which apparently is a different company altogether?!?! how did the NW8 Holdings Ltd company come to light in the first place on here, as ive just very quickly googled it, and find no reference to M. Fialka:confused:  That's what I was asking in a round about way. I can't see the connection - but that doesn't mean it's not there...
Cabrone Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 So Mike Fialka lives in Southgate....wonder if he's a Spud or a Gooner? Hopefully this will be completed ASAP and if it\when it is I'd like to wish Mike and the Pinnacle team the best of luck (just ignore the idiots on here).
Mole Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 So Mike Fialka lives in Southgate....wonder if he's a Spud or a Gooner? Apparently he's Jewish so i'd think Spurs.
The Farmer Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 Right is Michael Fialka a director of NW8 holdings ltd or not? Yes he is.

Ed Rooney Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 Please Mr Lynham as you seem keen to update us, would you mind confirming if the money man put forward today is the same one client with substantail wealth you mentioned previously. I am starting to get unsettled by the difference between presentation and reality that seems to be occurring. I do not mean to sound cynical because i want to believe that you are our saviour, so would be interested in your response. Consortium
Crab Lungs Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 God, this is bordering on stalking, you weirdos. Good on Michael Fialka coming forward AND GOOD LUCK TO HIM.
Chin Strain Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 Just watched him on SSN... Doesn't suprise me that the idiots on here are slating him and Pinnacle to the extent they are. Reality check needed, it was never going to be Richard ****ing Branson. I was quite impressed with what he said, he came across fine and seems confident. Obviously, the big question is now whether they can turn these words into actions and complete the deal. But from what I saw, I would be more than happy with him providing the funding for Matt and a decent manager in order to get us back somewhere near to where we belong. I think the problem is that TL has been saying one guy worth several hundred million, and now the indications are it's not one, and the guy who is wheeled out seems to be a bit of an unknown....which is odd when he's supposed to be worth several hundred million. MLT was on Sky earlier this week indicating that there was a plan in place to pay the staff this week, and yet they have gone without. I'd quite like to know who paid the wages last month, and therefore who stumped up the exclusivity payment. If it's shown to be MF then fair enough....but why is it I suspect it was Crouch..... Something just doesn't quite add up with this. I hope I'm wrong, but I can't help but think that MLT may have been unwittingly involved in a dodgy deal. I really hope I'm wrong.
paulwantsapint Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 Mr Fialka Welcome to Saints please phone the tawts at the football league tell them we accept the -10 points but they must let your take over go ahead instantly Congrats on following the well know phrase ' In MLT (god) We Trust'
manji Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 Seems to be a decent enough guy.The real test will be can he nail the deal and who he gets in as manager.
Pilchards Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 Another way to look at this, If it goes through we are saved and MLT will act in the best interest in us fans because he loves the club too like Quinn loves Sunderland. I would rather this that have the riches men on your board like QPR do and yet they lack spending or ambition by employing Mcgilton. I will keep my faith in MLT to bring us a class manager in which will be upwards and onwards to the premiership.
Ed Rooney Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 Is he f***... Dont have to eat your words again big mouth
Evo Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 Well he isn't a director of NW8 Holdings according to Companies House. That is all I'm going to say.
CB Saint Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 I will probably accused of heresy but... MLT was a great player, one of the best and my boyhood hero but why does everyone think that he will do a great job at running a football club. Sure he has been an ambassador and is undoubtedly passionate about saints but it strikes me there is a world of difference between loving a club and running one. As a figurehead - great. Anything else - not sure. Let the burning commence.
Block 5 Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 There seem to be lots of people on this forum shooting the guy down in flames already. Why? Because it's not Ratcliffe, Lloyd-Webber or Rod Stewart? Or perhaps because all the nudge nudge ITKs got it wrong? Or maybe because you've never heard of him? This is absolutely laughable. I bet not one of us had heard of Abramovich or the Glaziers or Hicks & Gillette before they bought football clubs!! I hold up my hands and admit that I was a tad underwhelmed at first because I hadn't heard of him - but on reflection..... of course I haven't heard of him FFS! He came across well on SSN. He has already stumped up more cash for our club than Wilde & Lowe. He is spending big cash on lawyers right now to try and ensure our club doesn't get shafted by the FL. He is prepared to make MLT chairman and let him handle the football side of SFC. He is going to dip into his pocket and INVEST millions of £££s in our club to try and get us back in the premiership. That sounds like a dream come true to me!! Why can't you all give the guy the opportunity to prove himself? He is obviously serious about going through with buying the club, otherwise he would not have put himself in the firing line by appearing on SSN. It seems that the default setting for a lot of Saints fans is now 'whinging'. Is this what we have become? Get behind the MF FFS!
AwaySaint1 Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 He has already stumped up more cash for our club than Wilde & Lowe. So Leon never paid the wages last month then ?

Pokerchampion Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 I think mike is the small money man , there is alot bigger name behind this , if you all listened to the talk sport interview with Mark Dennis he said there was two investors one worth 50 million and one worth hundreds of millions , i think the small fish has come to the surface while the whale stays submerged till signing if it happens , im 60/40 it wont , we keep hearing to many stalling stories , and none from the FL when will they make a statement ?
The Farmer Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 Is he f***... Unlike me and you to disagree John.
EBS1980 Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 Interview replayed on SSN after the break. Not quite true, within the next 30mins it'll be on.
martel Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 Please point me in the direction of your local off licence because I need some of what you are on. Me too, my confidence in this deal going through has gone to sea, via the toilet that is.
LGTL Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 It does prove once and for all, as if any furter proof was needed after 3 yeas, that all the "ITK's" on here are attention seeking idiots who know **** all.
westofshannonsaint Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 So Leon never paid the wages last month then ? I didn't see any mention of Crouch, and I think it has been suggested on here by some who claim to be ITK that Crouch could be up for a place on the board, weather I believe them or not it is a different question. as for Michael Fialka, I am quite underwhelmed but it is just because I don't know who he is and he is not Rod Stuart/Paul Allen/Whoever. In Le God I trust.
explorer saint Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 I think the man sounded good and positive but there is just that nagging thought in the back of my mind of a Michael Knighton at Old Trafford. I do hope I'm wrong.
lenwilkins Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 Unlike me and you to disagree John. It is a matter of record whether he is a Director or not and I'd bet good money that GM has checked his facts. If Mr Fialka is prepared to risk another buyer stepping in because the FL won't let him appeal a decision that Saints will lose anyway, which is what I understood him to say, this deal isn't going to happen.
Neil Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 I think the man sounded good and positive but there is just that nagging thought in the back of my mind of a Michael Knighton at Old Trafford. I do hope I'm wrong. Don't let him do any keepy-uppys on the pitch at St Mary's, then we'll really be finished!

smithy Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 Just seen the interview and I'm not convinced at all, seemed like some geezer from off the street to me. Hope I'm wrong.
EBS1980 Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 Just seen the interview for the first time, was quite impressed. I think they do know who the new manager will be (MW it wont be, fair play to the guy still being here though). Only concern from the interview was that he said he didn't have the time to be massively involved day to day. Just made me wondered why he was bothering if that was the case?!
Matthew Le God Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 Interview replayed on SSN after the break. That was a different interview to the one earlier.
Saint Charlie Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 That was a different interview to the one earlier. Oh what did the other one say?
Guided Missile Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 Unlike me and you to disagree John.According to Companies House, he's not a Director, but don't let the facts alter what is a perfectly good argument, Spenc.... (PS. The Directors of NW8 Holdings Limited are Leon Faust and Tirza Faust. (I guess that's his Mum and Dad). To buy the £38M St. Johns Wood property, for which this holding company was set up, they obtained a mortgage from Dekabank Deutsche Girozentrale) Now apologise before I call Watchdog...

buctootim Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 Odd that his name is also that of a Russian encryption machine - a code, an anagram - bit like Alistair Dial.
PaulSaint Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 Apparently he's Jewish so i'd think Spurs. That should REALLY help our M27 Relationship, Jew Chairman V Arab Chairman?

Badger Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 That should REALLY help our M27 Relationship, Jew Chairman V Arab Chairman? Have you stopped to wonder how cordial that transaction is down the road, as it is an arab buying the club off of a jew (or at least the son of a money laundering Russian jew)? Strange how they put such issues aside.

Pokerchampion Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 Michael Jackson is dead , just heard it on fox news
Nineteen Canteen Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 Unlike me and you to disagree John. Quite, but can you confirm that Fialka is director of NW8 HOLDINGS LTD and if so the details of how you sourced this information. I personally found his interview on SSN very worrying and I would like Mr Fry to furnish us with his due diligence file he completed on Pinnacle prior to giving them exclusivity. Judging by the majority of comments and information to date I doubt its a very large file. I don't want to judge a book by it's cover but that interview gave me no confidence we are dealing with a millionaire let alone a multi-millionaire. It wasn't what he said (anyone can talk the talk) but the surroundings and his persona. Bring on the Swiss.....please.
