lordswoodsaints Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 (edited) If pinnacle were sure,as TL has stated then they would have paid the wages. IMO the deal has collapsed and dragging out some bloke with a few mil is clutching at straws. Edited 25 June, 2009 by lordswoodsaints
saintstr1 Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 If pinnacle were sure,as TL has stated then they would have paid the wages. IMO the deal has collapsed and dragging out some bloke with a few mil is clutching at straws. Seconded
rocknrollman no2 Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 Think its dragged on too long now. Pinnicle couldve paid the staff wages, but they havent,so thats a bad sign. So i voted no.
Badger Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 Voted "no" yesterday, and todays non-developments have vindicated that view. Hope we still have a club tomorrow.Beyond caring if its Pinnacle or the Swiss.
Wildgoose Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 I want to say yes, but genuinely can't make up my mind. So.......I'm not sure!
Nineteen Canteen Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 wanted to vote yes but something about this is ringing warning bells so voted no but i always think we are going to lose so that i do not get disappointed so hope i am wrong I'm in a similar quandry. My heart says yes but based on how this has unravelled over the past few days my head now says No. It all seems a bit .....amateurish IMO and MLT aside the other protaganists are not giving me any confidence they have the expertise to run a football club.
brightspark Posted 25 June, 2009 Posted 25 June, 2009 I believe that the league won't change its terms, and Pinnacle won't accept. For that reason, another Saints dream is ruined, and NO gets my vote. I wish I was born in Hull.
LostBoys Posted 26 June, 2009 Posted 26 June, 2009 I waited until I had seen reported whether the wages had been paid yesterday before I voted and before the Fialka revelation. With the Swiss in Southampton and another consortia allegedly seeking exclusivity for Monday I think Pinnacle will disappear today in a sea of acrimony blaming the football league whereas in reality they never had the money.
Fitzhugh Fella Posted 29 June, 2009 Posted 29 June, 2009 would change my vote to YES now. still confident? I reckon there has been a lot of posters who are "swinging both ways" - perhaps "initiate another poll" time?
Wade Garrett Posted 29 June, 2009 Posted 29 June, 2009 Matty didn't seem overly concerned on Sky Sports a minute ago. If it was going tits up he wouldn't be talking about our future the way he is. I would change my vote to yes as well.
SaintBobby Posted 29 June, 2009 Posted 29 June, 2009 Le Tissier still sounding like it will all go through on SKY Sports News http://www.skysports.com/video/clips/0,23791,15855_5406161,00.html
