I'M afraid to say Michael Jackson won't be making his comeback this week8-[

I was gonna say something like that :@

Instead I'll say-

What's the difference between Michael Jackson and Alex Ferguson?

Fergie will be playing Giggs in August =DD

In all seriousness I'll give an answer tomorrow about whether I'm playing

I will be back - centre back. lol.

Must remember to chip in a couple of quid for the bibs this week too. On the subject of equipment, can I suggest that we all chip in for a first aid kit?

It needn't have too much in it, just the basics; bandages, sling, antiseptic, aspirin (lifesavers if someone has a heart attack - FACT), ice pack/spray, rohipnol (sp), plasters, cotton wool. Would need to be looked after by a regular though imo.

Possibly thinking of coming, just a couple of questions:

Do you play on the astro down there?

Anyone welcome (age, skills - or lack of?)

Is it free?

Do you play with real balls (ie. the £10 plastic us young ones are used to? ;) )

Cheers,

Simon

Mike forgot to mention that there is an unwritten rule that if you played in the Forum match, you have to wear the shirt.

Haha I would, but I haven't worn it since due to me looking 100% ridiculous in an XL shirt!

Oh and do I need shin pads?

No, I think Baj is away this week. BTW Don't park in Passfield Avenue just in case he turns up.

Bring a drink though, it can get pretty hot.

I won't be parking anywhere ;)

But yeah, get very hot when I play 6 a side on a monday night, and that's only an hour!

Hint: try not to head the ball with your nose?

Oh and do I need shin pads?

Most of us don't seem to bother these days so no; I still do though as I'd rather not risk it - but then I do have a track record of picking up knocks and injuries in training and kickarounds rather than in 'proper' matches.

Aren't there enough drivers that we should have the essentials between us in first aid kits in our cars which are next to where we are playing?

Really sorry me and Jordan didnt turn up. We were involved in a serious road accident on our way to Flemming park. Only just got home from A& E. Thankfully we all walked away from the accident despite the car rolling 3 times down a steep embankment!!

Deep joy!!:(

Christ, hope your both OK.

Hope noone was hurt, the car is just a piece of metal at the end of the day Barce.

In all honesty I thought tom=nights gamne was awful, I know I was ****ter than my usual ****, but it was pretty lacklustre all round imo.

Nexstar (Simon?) was taking the p with his silky skills and deft footwork down the left, I simply could not keep up, that's why I went in goal - did I look as bad as I think I did?

Yes we are both ok just very scary experience, we were hit on the right side of the back door as the car behind us tried to come off the junction at the last moment and hit the backside of us sending the car fish tailing, Dad couldn't keep it on the road but done very well to do as he did, then we hit the curd car 360'ed in the air before rolling rolling/flipping down the embankment twice, hope to play next week though

I think the only truth in that sentence is that you went in goal ;)
