I have no confidence left.

85% hopeful that we will be much closer to the takeover by the end of the day (just not sure which day it will be )

 

25% worried that Lord Thinwilly will threaten to completely revoke our license to play in The FL if we persist on appealing, meaning the takeover will be binned

 

and 101% sure I passed my A level maths by fluke

Split the difference and have done with it. The Football League can save face and announce that they feel they were justified in deducting the 10 points according to Administration regulations, but that new information has come to light and they agree Southampton Football Club was in many ways separate from the holding company ". .............as a result we, the Football League, have decided to an amical agreement and 5 points will be deducted in return for Southampton's new owners agreeing not to take the case to court. AMEN"

surely then if they had backed down over 5 points, they have grounds for the rest? and thats why it wouldnt happen!
