My two bobs worth....It really is time that Pinnacle just put the money on the table...providing they've got it of course....and MLT as Chairman.....might as well give Rupert the No 9 shirt whilst their at it.

Pinnacle don't have any money do they, they are a front.

It is a pretty impressive bid of £15m from a company trading a year that have never filed accounts. It does beg the question, why use a property developer?

If I was building a house I wouldn't hire a football club Chief Exec to project manage it.

Tony Lynam has got a lot of goodwill on this site mainly down to some nice references from friends and the fact he has communicated nicely but he will find out, us fans are a fickle bunch.

Next time you read one of his posts imagine it was LLS, HelpMeRhonda or one of the many message board messiahs we have endured over the past 2-3 years. The only difference is we have a bit of faith with Tony (for the moment).

So pretty please do make your call, or get off the pot.

I dont accept parallels being drawn to Michael Wilde buying in and eventually taking over. It's b*ll*cks. Pinnacle have convinced the administrator, MLT, and we are led to believe the FL, that they have fit and proper persons with the money behind the bid. Wilde faced NO tests as to his suitability apart from the (flawed) judgement of Mary Corbett, Pat Trant, Leon Crouch and Lawrie Mac, and he certainly didnt show the colour of his money.

So, do forgive me if I feel that, when a tin-pot businessman and second-rate chemist doesnt have a good feeling about things and wants to take the opportunity to swing his dong a little bit to demonstrate his self-acclaimed business nous, I dont reckon it amounts to a great deal except self-aggrandisment...

I hope the mods don't mind, but f*** you Alpine....
