Deppo Posted 19 June, 2009 Posted 19 June, 2009 Yes. I hope he does. Poss Fed - Murray final, but I think I would still want Fed to win.
Hatch Posted 19 June, 2009 Posted 19 June, 2009 It will be some number 8 seed or something that'll win it
Dicko Posted 19 June, 2009 Posted 19 June, 2009 Is Murray's seeding changing to 2? He'd rather stay in the section of the draw he's got - he's almost certain to reach the semi's from where he is

In my opinion, it is much more likely a qualifier will take Nadals place in the draw and everything will remain the same.

I'm pretty sure the number 5 seed takes his place (Del Potro) or something like that, although not certain. I don't know who I want to win this year. I want Murray, as a Brit, to win (and this will be his best ever chance probably), but there's something about Federer at Wimbledon that always makes me want to see him win. I used to get really bored of Sampras always winning it in his day, but I don't feel like that about Fed. Anyway Murray - Fed final and I'll be happy whatever the result.
Thedelldays Posted 20 June, 2009 Posted 20 June, 2009 murrays best chance he has beaten federer the last 6 times out of 8...
saint lard Posted 20 June, 2009 Posted 20 June, 2009 Murray is on to a loser straightaway,if he dosen't do well some will say he should of done better because Nadal is not in the tournamant, and if he were to win others will say he won it because he didn't have to face one of the best on the circuit. IMO.

IMO. Whereas if Nadal was playing he would either do badly or loose to Nadal. At least in this case he has a chance of reaching the final and if he beats Federer noone is going to say he's had it easy.
Saintandy666 Posted 21 June, 2009 Posted 21 June, 2009 murrays best chance he has beaten federer the last 6 times out of 8... On hard courts. Not sure if he is up to it on grass. Federer also has a point to prove. That's if it is even a Murray - Federer final; long way to go yet.
Thedelldays Posted 21 June, 2009 Posted 21 June, 2009 Will be casting an eye on Simona Halep  just googled that name my word...:smt054
Ziggy Posted 21 June, 2009 Posted 21 June, 2009 just googled that name my word...:smt054 Good God! Me too! I had to laugh when the article I looked at said she was not a "classic beauty"! I hadn't even bothered looking at her face up until that point!
