Bailey Posted 19 June, 2009 Posted 19 June, 2009 Both in talks with Plymouth apparently. Also, only 16 players showed up for their pre-season tests the other day. Nothing ground-breaking, but thought I'd pass on what I heard.

Miltonaggro Posted 20 June, 2009 Posted 20 June, 2009 Methinks that players who depart SFC to places like Plymouth and Swansea may regret their lack of committment in the long run...
Mowgli Posted 20 June, 2009 Posted 20 June, 2009 To be fair (to BWP and Euell) I think their commitment is to their families and securing the best deal they can. Plymouth are in a higher division than us so they will have done well if they get a contract. Besides, why should they show commitment when all they get here is abuse? Maybe it is us that should be 'regretting'.
Whitey Grandad Posted 20 June, 2009 Posted 20 June, 2009 Players are dumped by clubs when they are surplus to requirements and they have short careers in relation to most professions. They have families and mortgages like most other people, even if is is on a different scale. They are commodities to be traded or sold. Most people on here would walk to another employer for a sizeable pay rise.
