Bye Mark, thanks for the efforts.

Yes he was retarded to pick Ryan Smith, but overall he had a ridiculously tough job, as did Jan, but they both worked hard for us and wanted to succeed. Good luck to both.

Indeed.

Yes he was retarded to pick Ryan Smith, but overall he had a ridiculously tough job and did it badly relegating us to the lowest position for 49 years, as did Jan, but they both worked hard for us and wanted to succeed. Good luck to both.

Just finished the sentence for you. ;)

If true, then good luck to him. Nowhere near good enough a manager for Saints, but his dignity and professionalism in recent weeks have shown him in a good light.

To be fair even I have to agree with that.

I wasn't impressed by him but he handled a difficult situation with dignity and his heart was in the right place. Good luck to him in his new job.

Just upgraded to full member on this auspicious day!

+1

I can't believe (well actually I can sadly) the idiots slagging this guy off when in the end he is leaving rather graciously

rarely post but this annoys me...

How can anyone stick up for a manager that sent the players to give a gutless performance(s) ie Sheff Wed....team fighting for thier lives? pah it and he was PATHETIC

he was rubbish he took us down to the third tier of football - take the fake tan and the sweet talk with you wotte....

Wrong man, wrong time....

Feel a bit sorry for him. Lowe talked to him years ago, but bottled giving him the hot seat last year, just like he bottled bringing Hoddle back.

Amazing how bullies can be such cowards.

dont we have a thread on this already?

I started a thread on him negotiating/ being in the running for the job a few days ago but I thought it was worth starting a new thread now that he has signed for them.

I never really liked the guy to be honest but he has always presented himself and the club well. His team did put in a few questionable performances but with all the turmoil surrounding the club at that time there were quite some mitigating circumstances. Good luck to him in his new job.

Don't knock the bloke, he tried his best from an almost impossible position he just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time I wish him well.

Good Luck?

Well Done?

What's all that about, he was hopeless and completely out of his depth. Have we sunk so Lowe, that he is now considered a good Manager .

Yes, he didn't manage to keep us up, so we ought to hate him now and hope the future goes very badly for him. Fancy wishing him good luck! Proper saints fans should be unpleasant and as a wise poster said earlier, as graceless as possible.

We ought to manage to be more unpleasant than pompey fans at least. I for one hope he stubs his toe very badly for making some unsuccessful team choices.

I don't think anyone has said 'well done'. That doesn't mean he is a crap manager and it doesn't mean he is a bad guy. Should we wish for anyone that wasn't good for us to burn in hell?

'lezers'

Rotterdam-mark wotte is again coach of the Egyptian ismaily. Also Henk of STEE was a long time in the race for coach of the topclub. The last season wotte was employed in the English Southampton. Friday club which makes the departure of the oefenmeester known. It is reported that Kevin one in the picture for performing the duties of wotte about to take. wotte previously worked as manager of ismaily. Mid-2006 he ended with the club as second in the Egyptian club competition.

Long appeared to Henk of STEE manager would be of ismaily. The oefenmeester soon after the first interview with the opinion by wotte club, which are not also a candidate to be told. rather surprisingly, STEE wotte last week that also appeared in the race for the vacant post.

No, but he did a thankless job in impossible circumstances and at the very least he has maintained some dignity for himself and the club throughout our darkest days. So for that I thank him for his efforts and wish him the very best

Sorry, you're right.

I would like to give a belated goodbye and good luck to Ian Branfoot. You always gave 100% Ian and it was hardly your fault you were hopeless and your arrogant behaviour towards the fans, was just misunderstood.

Thanks Ian.

Branfoot was a **** and behaved like one. Wotte is a decent bloke that behaved professionally in a very difficult situation. Very comparable....

Yep I agree..

I wish him the very best of luck

Very best of luck. Never really stood much of a chance here and I hope this new role will give him a chance to prove the doubters wrong.

All the best Mark, cheers for giving a hopeless situation the best of attempts.

Wish you well in the future.

TBF, he was professional, dignified and stayed until the very end, a lesser man would have jumped ship as soon as the season ended.

Now lets move on to the future.

Let's be fair, it cannot have been easy managing for success with no money and a bunch of lazy Rrsoles cluttering up the training ground. Hopefully our new manager will bring with him a massive broom or a red-hot poker!
