Oh no...you know what this means....

Swiss moving ahead means I'm going to be listening to that silly old bint on Solent talking about 'Smellyradio'....call me old fashioned but her voice sounds like she's needs a good portion...

Do what I do. Tune in a minute TO the hour, them turn off three minutes AFTER the hour. Nearly drivel free!!!

BBC report states:

"Before a deal can be completed, there are several issues that have to be sorted out, including the Football League carrying out a period of due diligence on the club's prospective new owners."

Anyone know how long a period lasts?

12 months according to my missus.

Surely though the FL would have had some headsup on who the new owners were proposed to be and some of the basic groundwork.

Or if could be

FL: How much money do you have

Anonymous Liebherr: Lots

FL: Prove it

AL: Here's my Swiss Bank account number, go check, and here's a gold ingot (Nazi stamp removed) to help things through

FL; Thankyou, we can see that you're fit and proper! Carry on..

I thought all the due dilligence stuff had been done - surely the contract we are waiting on is 'THE contract...'

I think it meant the due dilligence on the prospective owners. It wasn't worded very well.

Solent: Mark Fry says he's over confident.

That is no such comment 'over confident'

In sport terms it means 'Im a bighead' and in business terms it means 'Had a phone enquiry about buying us'

Am I the first posting on page 100 as I fancy making the forums history books. :-)
